God Keeps His Promises

 The Bible is the word of God and is powerful and life changing. The promises of God start with 2 Timothy 3:16 when God tells us that all Scriptures in the Bible are inspired by God. With this promise of God in hand we can then be assured that what we learn in the Bible comes from Him!

There is so many promises in His Word that Christ has given us but one of my favorite promises that has affected my life greatly is;
Romans 8:37-39
No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Love the lyrics of this song.....
Standing on the promises I cannot fall,
Listening every moment to the Spirit’s call
Resting in my Savior as my all in all,
Standing on the promises of God.

Have a blessed day and trust the Promises of God!
Be blessed, Cindy

  6. I love that song too! Makes me want to go to a good ole' country church or an evening service at the Methodist church. I grew up Methodist and they only sung the old hymns like that at night. But I spent a lot of time at Baptist and Assembly of God churches with friends and Grandparents where that was the morning music too. Now I'm going have to go pull out some of my old hymnals. Thanks for putting that song in my heart, when I need it so much.
