Wednesday in the Word-Rejoice

What is your New Word for 2014?
This year as I was praying for my new word for 2014 I could never settle on a word. My friend Darlene Rockefeller made me a sweet wall hanging for Christmas and the word was REJOICE!
I knew in an instant that was to be my word for 2014.
My Scripture is "But let all take refuge in You REJOICE; let them sing for joy, and spread Your protection over them, that those that love Your Name may exult in You. For You bless the righteous, O Lord; You cover Him with a favor as with a shield. Psalm 5:11-12

Happy 2014!

Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  3. Great word Cindy. I think my new word for 2014 will be "think". I have made some very hasty decisions in 2013 and did not think about them first. Some of the decisions I made has come back to haunt me. In all honestly Cindy, I truly want to "Think" before making decisions of any kind. Thanks for posting your new word! Connie Royals

  8. Cindy, what a great new word! I truly do rejoice in all of the wonderful blessing the good Lord has given me. To be honest, I have never really picked a new word for the New Year. I just always feel so blessed. May need to think about a specific word.

  11. I love it! Joy must be filling God's heart this year because versions and portions of that word keep popping up among blog friends this year. Several have been lead to the word JOY, but you are the first to be lead to the verb. I'm a verb person so I particularly love it.

Rejoice in the LORD always. Again, I say Rejoice!

  12. A bit late catching up but so glad to come here and see the word and the verse God gave you for this year. I love it. My word for this year is JOY. My verse is: You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with JOY in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand. Psalm 16:11 (NIV)
