WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD-how to live through bad storms (1000 gifts)

Today, I simply feel led to share a piece from Ann Voskamp. She wrote this on her blog and it has jumped off the page at me to share this week. She is the author of 1000 Gifts. Please take just a minute to read this. It may be a blessing for you or a blessing for you to share with someone else. Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. Hi Cindy! Oh, this was a wonderful and such a great reminder to me! God Is in control - I know that - but I needed to be reminded to really thank Him in all things! I'll have to look for this book also!
Thank you so much for popping in to see me and I so appreciate you and your friendship and prayers.
    Blessings,
    Shelia ;)

  4. I read her book and we did a Women's study at church about it. It should make us....well, me...look at everything around me, good and bad, with different eyes!!!

  6. Great post... I miss reading your blog and others while I'm in my busy season of school. I'm so looking forward to graduation (with my bachelor's) in July 2014. Then, I'll decide if I stay in school and work on my masters!

  8. Oh, yes, Cindy! Such a good word - and so relevant to my life these past few months as we've been in production on the play - a VERY powerful evangelical message and oh! What storms we have encountered along the way. Satan just didn't want it to be produced - but GOD - GOD is ultimately in control. There is such a powerful representation of this in the show, too. People's lives are already being touched and changed and we haven't even opening yet - tonight is the night. Hope you can tune in . . .
    Joy!

P.S. Expecting to be more visible in Blogland after this weekend, too!
