{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{Thrifting and Partying}

Done a little thrifting after getting a bunch of sugars off this sweet girl..... I only went to a couple of places but did find a few things I liked. Isn't she just lovely?    What was REALLY lovely was the price! I got this sweet thing for $1.99.  Ooh...I grabbed this little cabbage teapot up faster than you could blink! I spotted it at a distance and darn near ran over two old women and one man to get to it! And....for $2.99 it became mine!  Cute purse for $3.   Yes, I'm a sucker for baskets and any kind especially one this size and well made for $2. And talk about partying...We just had a little family birthday party for my oldest grand that turned 12! Every grand gets to pick what they want for their birthday luncheon and my girl wanted Nana's sausage and potato soup and turkey and ham subs! Now you can't go wrong with soup and sandwiches!    Subway has nothing on me !!!  Birthday girl was happy!  YEP...that

{Oreo Cream Cheese Chocolate Cake} and MORE!

WOW...our sweet grandgirl is already over a week old! Of course she was a week early so maybe to her she is "right on time" right about now huh?  She had her first little private outing to visit with Papa and Nana on her week old birthday. I think she was ready to see us...I mean it had only been one day since I had seen her! LOL!  Bright eyed for sure! My oldest grandgirl turned 12 this past Saturday too! It was like yesterday to me that she was just a little newborn baby....Time surely needs to slow down. My grandbabies are just too sweet. All 5 of them! Speaking of sweet I want to share a recipe with you for a cake I made. If you like chocolate, cream cheese and Oreo's then you are sure to love this! I actually baked four 8 inch round cakes. I used 3 of the layers and then I had one layer left that I used for another gathering. So for this recipe I doubled it for 4 layers. If you are making a double layer cake then follow this recipe .  Preheat o
