{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

{It's Been A Great Week}

  Good Sunday afternoon and Happy Memorial Day tomorrow. Do you have plans for tomorrow for Memorial Day?  These two cuties started their Memorial Day festivities yesterday. I think it would be safe to say that they have the "little prop your leg thing" dead on!  I want to thank you all for your kind words and prayers for our granddaughter Kyleigh. She is doing well and outside of experiencing tiredness now she is recovering nicely. I carried her for more blood work and her liver enzymes are still showing high but that can be normal with what she has been through. Her blood work will be checked again in 4 weeks. No doubt that our Lord surely had her in the palm of His mighty hands. Thank you all for lifting our girl up for healing.  Our youngest granddaughter Annaleigh, (On the right) recently celebrated her 4th birthday.  I went with the girls (sisters in this picture) and my daughter to carry them to "Build a Bear" . We had a great time. Out to eat, Build a b...

{The Sweet Times Of Life}

 Happy Memorial Day everyone .  I hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial day and have enjoyed your weekend. We enjoyed Hibachi style yesterday afternoon and it was so good. Steak, chicken, shrimp, pork, fried rice and veggies. YUM!  The youngest grands got their red, white and blue on for church yesterday.  The oldest grandgirl Raygen and her best friend Penny visited a nearby sunflower farm.  Marty and grandgirl Mallory done a little fishing and needless to say we will be frying up some fish before too long.  My baby wrens have hatched and getting ready to fly out of the nest before long.  Marty and I enjoyed another late afternoon of "fun food" served on my new lazy susan. I can tell I am going to really enjoy that piece and it will be used.  While out and about doing a little shopping I found these cuties to also use for my "fun food" and many other items I am sure.  A blogging friend of mine introduced these Spurtles on her blog in a ...

{Alfresco Dining For Two, Birthday Party and Sweet Moments}

I hope that you all enjoyed your Memorial Day. It sure was a hot day in my neck of the woods but it didn't stop me from having a little red, white and blue fun. I am so thankful for those who have and is currently serving in the Military. I have family members that have served our country and one that is still serving. My grandfather served in the Navy, my brother served in the Navy, my uncle served in the Airforce, one of my soninlove's served in the Marines and I have a nephew that still is serving in the Navy. I praise the Lord for every one of these men.  A lot going on these days for me it seems. We have been very busy with grandbabies birthday's and just celebrated our youngest granddaughter Annaleigh for her 1st birthday.  She has a mouth full of teeth, taking 4-5 steps, smiles all the time and has somewhat of a sweet-sassy personality going on. I LOVE IT! For Memorial Day my family had their own plans for the holiday so I decided that me and my man...
