{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{It's Been A Great Week}

  Good Sunday afternoon and Happy Memorial Day tomorrow. Do you have plans for tomorrow for Memorial Day?  These two cuties started their Memorial Day festivities yesterday. I think it would be safe to say that they have the "little prop your leg thing" dead on!  I want to thank you all for your kind words and prayers for our granddaughter Kyleigh. She is doing well and outside of experiencing tiredness now she is recovering nicely. I carried her for more blood work and her liver enzymes are still showing high but that can be normal with what she has been through. Her blood work will be checked again in 4 weeks. No doubt that our Lord surely had her in the palm of His mighty hands. Thank you all for lifting our girl up for healing.  Our youngest granddaughter Annaleigh, (On the right) recently celebrated her 4th birthday.  I went with the girls (sisters in this picture) and my daughter to carry them to "Build a Bear" . We had a great time. Out to eat, Build a bear,

{Life Is A Precious Gift}

  Good Sunday Afternoon everyone. Hope that you all have had a wonderful weekend. I posted last on May 8th...I think...Seems like so much has happened since then. I am going to try and catch up this week with my blogging friends. Wanted to share a few fun pictures since I have last posted. These little girls sure enjoy fishing with papa. Our six year old granddaughter pulled in her fish all by herself and was so proud. The four year old eats more bread than she lets the fish have! LOL!  We had a nice harvest of potatoes. Some still had  few green spots but I can cut those off and we are good to go. I've already roasted potatoes and made potato soup. Mashed potatoes are up next.  Marty and I had a day date recently and stopped at Maple Street Biscuit. My, my! Now this is a biscuit and so yummy.  I was doing some baking for a fund raiser and decided since I was on a roll with the baking I would make Marty a fresh raspberry and lemon loaf cake drizzled with lemon glaze. It turned out

{College Graduation and Kentucky Derby}

Happy Mother's Day to you all on this Sunday afternoon. I am sure in some form or fashion many of you have mothered children whether by being a sister, cousin, aunt, friend, mentor or etc. It is surely a most precious gift.  I am very blessed that God chose me to be a mom to these three women. They are each wonderful moms to their children.  They carried me to brunch yesterday and showered with me lovely gifts and we had such a great time. There is NEVER a dull moment with my tribe of women! We had the awesome opportunity to watch our oldest granddaughter graduate with her AA degree in Associates of Arts on Friday. Our sweet Raygen was duel enrolled with High School and Junior College. She graduated with a 3.95 GPA from College and will attend the University of North Florida in the Fall.  We are so very proud of her.  Marty and I attended a fund raiser for our Local Isaiah 117 House in Baker on Saturday afternoon. The theme was Kentucky Derby.  We had so much fun. I haven't ha

{A Whole Lot Of Fun Going On}

Good Sunday afternoon everyone. Hope your weekend has been wonderful. We have been having so much fun this week that winding down this afternoon is just what I needed.    I began my week by admiring some lovely pretties that are beginning to breath life and are growing quite well. I took one morning to walk outside to look at my potatoes in my little garden and much to my surprise my little flowers seemed to be all be smiling and they sure made me smile. AND...I will be harvesting potatoes in a few weeks! YUM! My friend Kitty from Kitty's Kozy Kitchen    https://www.kittyskozykitchen.com/2022/04/copycat-payday-bars.html shared her Pay Day Candy Bars on her blog and I knew I had to make a batch. Let me just tell you.... YOU CANNOT EAT JUST ONE! Family and friends enjoyed these goodies this week. THEY ARE ADDICTIVE! I made a hamburger and scalloped potato dish one day through the week and had some potatoes left over. SO, good old fried potato sandwich was for lunch. I grew up having
