{It's Almost August}

 Hello Sweet Sunday Afternoon! Where in the world has July went? In a few more days we will be venturing into August and I feel the summer is passing quickly. I want to say that several have pointed out blogger issues from me. Some of you are getting that I am a non-reply blogger. I have no clue why. Some of you are not able to see my pictures that I post and I have no clue why. I have had so many issues lately with blogger. Any old ways I will try again today and we shall see what happens. You should be able to find my little old blog over at www.bloglovin.com too. Just type in Creationsbycindy in the search box.  What have you ate good lately? We let me say that we have ate quiet well this week. I whipped Marty and I up a Chicken Fajita bowl this week served over brown rice. It was so good and favorable.  I took some leftover breakfast bacon and made myself a BLT using fresh tomatoes out of my garden. YEP, more tomatoes than bacon I think. But oh so good.  Of course I had to have a l

Wednesday in the Word-Merry Christmas

  Luke 2 The Birth of Jesus 2  In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. 2  (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) 3  And everyone went to their own town to register. 4  So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. 5  He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. 6  While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7  and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. 8  And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9  An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10  But the

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD-Christ in Christmas

I found this poem and thought it to be appropriate to share for the holiday season. Another reminder to KEEP CHRIST IN CHRISTMAS! T'was The Night Before Christmas Not a Sign of Baby Jesus   T'was the night before Christmas and all through the town Not a sign of Baby Jesus was anywhere to be found. The people were all busy with Christmas time chores Like decorating, and baking, and shopping in stores. No one sang "Away in a manger, no crib for a bed". Instead, they sang of Santa dressed-up in bright red. Mama watched Martha Stewart, Papa drank beer from a tap. As hour upon hour the presents they'd wrap When what from the TV did they suddenly hear? 'Cept an ad.. which told of a big sale at Sears. So away to the mall they all flew like a flash Buying things on credit and others with cash! And, as they made their way home From their trip to the mall, Did they think about Jesus? Oh, no... not at all. Their lives wer

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD-Mary's Song

I've been reading "Why Nativity" by David Jeremiah. When I got to the chapter called, "Why the song of Mary" , I had to stop and try to take it all in . The song is called, Mag nificat , which means, "It magnifies" . In earlier translations of the Bible, Mary's first words were rendered as, "My soul doth magnify the Lord."  W e learn of us this song through scr ipture when Mar y went to visit her cousin El izabeth. When Elizabeth cri ed out in expression of joy Mary, having waited for days to sha re her amazing news that had come into her life, expressed a little joy of her own! She was carrying the Sa vior of this world! Mary lifted her voice in a song of praise to a wonderful God.   I cannot almost hear Mary singing can't you?  E ven in the midst of her carrying the Son of God in her womb, not knowing what tomorrow would hold, she praised Him ! E ven with her being a young woman, unmarried and a virgin, she praised Him!
