{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

TUESDAY TOOTS

How about a simple, festive, plastic and paper tablescape? I enjoy doing all the pretties for a tablescape but I do like the ease of simple too! Especially when we can eat off of it and toss it in the garbage!  Decided to do something festive and easy.  Decided to make my centerpiece first and then pull colors from that.   The lilies came from Walmart and the rest was from the Dollar tree including the fruit I used. Found the cute planter at Dollar General. Less that $10 bucks for it all.   Apple, Orange and Lemon went into the centerpiece.  Had this sweet little book that was given to me in 1998 when I participated in Secret Sisters at church. Brought back lots of memories and decided it would be perfect for my festive look. Then I needed to add a couple of candles to match. Found these at Walmart for $1 each. The colorful table runner was a piece of material I had. Ooh, love my little bowls. $1 each from the Dollar Tree.  Goes right along with my colors. T

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD

Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that will pardon and cleanse within; Grace, grace, God’s grace, Grace that is greater than all our sin.  Oh I love that song...don't you? God has extended so much grace to me. Just by His very grace and faith was I saved. Grace is simply unmerited favor. Nothing we deserve by no means but simply because God loves us so much that He wants to instill His grace upon us.    Raygen and Conner I've found that Grace enables me to make it! No matter what my need is or my circumstance God's Grace is sufficient.     Raygen and Mallory There has been many times I must admit that I've thought His grace couldn't come soon enough!  Have you felt that way at times?  Kyleigh I heard Grace explained like this once. Grace is like a rescue unit. It is sitting there in its spot until 911 is dialed. Once the call comes in the rescue is on its way...lights flashing and sirens blaring. Rescue is on its way to mee

TUESDAY TOOTS

Well I must toot today about the grands! What better to toot about.   Meet my oldest granddaughter Raygen.   She turned 8 recently. Just growing up way too fast. She is the sweetest kid ever! Her personality is somewhat shy but I've seen her be aggressive on the soccer field! She LOVES to create and design. I've seen her take paper and make 3-D projects with it. We gave her her first sewing machine for her birthday. She is sewing everything in sight! She takes piano lessons and her first recital is coming up! This little girl has so much to look forward to in her life. I'm blessed to be her nana . Meet my grandson Conner.   He turned 6 in March. He is brother to Raygen and my only grandson. Needless to say he is ALL BOY! Being a mother to 3 girls and then a granddaughter when our boy entered our life it was totally different than what we had known. Now instead of hairbows it was caps, instead of dolls it was toy cars and instead of sweet lady like
