{It's Almost August}

 Hello Sweet Sunday Afternoon! Where in the world has July went? In a few more days we will be venturing into August and I feel the summer is passing quickly. I want to say that several have pointed out blogger issues from me. Some of you are getting that I am a non-reply blogger. I have no clue why. Some of you are not able to see my pictures that I post and I have no clue why. I have had so many issues lately with blogger. Any old ways I will try again today and we shall see what happens. {Alfresco Dining For Two, Birthday Party and Sweet Moments}

I hope that you all enjoyed your Memorial Day. It sure was a hot day in my neck of the woods but it didn't stop me from having a little red, white and blue fun. I am so thankful for those who have and is currently serving in the Military. I have family members that have served our country and one that is still serving. I LOVE IT! For Memorial Day my family had their own plans for the holiday so I decided that me and my man

Our niece Becca is expecting her first baby is July so our family threw her a little baby shower. Bohemian style.  My SIL Becky found a lady to make all the flowers, leaves and etc. and she simply placed it on bead board for a backdrop. I thought it turned out adorable.   This cute little mama to be enjoyed her shower very much. She's having a girl in case you can't tell by the decor. It is her motherinlove's, my SIL Becky's first grandchild. Needless to say there is excitement in the air! Oh I remember the birth of my first grandchild as though it was yesterday. Now she is 15 years old. We had a dessert only shower and oh my! Too much good stuff to choose from. See that adorable cake in the center? My SIS Shirley makes the BEST hummingbird cake you will ever eat! It is probably her most requested dessert.   Butter cak
