{Let June Begin}

  It's Sunday afternoon and my tribe has left after a wonderful and breezy afternoon. The youngest two grands made friends with a baby bird today and was so sad when they had to let it go.  We attended a dance recital for these two littles. They both done so good. It was so bright outside and we were all squinting in pictures. The girls had a fan club for sure. Marty and I are blessed that our family always supports one another. Just BLESSED y'all. Just blessed! Marty enjoys coffee cakes and breads with his morning coffee on his way to work so I baked a yummy cranberry & orange coffee cake with drizzled icing. It smelled amazing baking. I think I might have a slice in the morning. LOL! The month of May was National Physical Fitness & Sports month so we ladies finished up strong. We added extra workouts to our yoga classes in different areas and well, let me just say, "I found a few muscles that I didn't know I had". LOL! My focus board for June is so fitti

Merry Christmas My Dear Blogging Friends

I feel like it's been forever since we've chatted. I have been so busy over the last couple of weeks, helping out with grandbabies, working part time, trying to do a little Christmas, and well, life is just busy right now. Anyone else there?  Grandbabies sure makes life a whole lot sweeter. Those of you that have grands I can hear you saying AMEN!  Seems time caught up with me quick this holiday season. I did manage with the help of my oldest granddaughter Raygen to get my kitchen and living room decorated for Christmas. There is an advantage to having older grands. LOL!  I didn't decorate as much this year as I usually do but good enough for me.  My granny's dishes got a touch of red this season added to them. I love my centerpiece for my dining room table. You can't see but very little but the Dough bowl holding my centerpiece was given to me by my granny and her daddy, my great-grandfather actually carved the bread bowl.

{Exciting News}

Grandchildren fill a space in your heart that you never knew was empty.  The Lord has surely blessed our family with these five sweet kids and as you know we are getting a 6th sweet grandbaby.  Baby Starr is due May 29th. So exciting! My daughter and soninlove had a small family gathering for the gender reveal and needless to say the anticipation was high.   My niece made the cake and it was just simply adorable.   My daughter wanted to keep it simple since the holidays are jammed packed with so much going on so coffee, hot chocolate, and cake was served and it was perfect for the Christmas holiday season.   My daughter chose to reveal the gender with a Christmas tree. She had pink and blue ornaments along with pink and blue lights on the tree. Of course no one knew what color of lights would come on until the lighting of the tree. I think you could safely say once the tree was lit that......... IT'S A GIRL!
