{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

Sweet Topaz Shoe I wanted to share my little Valentine Tree with you all that I have in my little corner chair with drawer. Have I told y'all that I am loving my little chair and drawer? It's so much fun to decorate. I wanted to display some cute little heels that I have. I don't have many but I do love them. Several have been gifted to me over the years. The pretty little gold one above was the first heel that I was ever gifted.  Y'all know I name things so her name is  Gena .   Red Rose  sure glitters and I love me some glitter! I actually found her on the clearance rack at Walmart a few years ago after Christmas.  I named this particular silver heel "A night on the town with Judy" . Awe, and this red unique shoe's name is Debbie . I have had her for many years. My friend Debbie passed away some years ago and I will always treasure this sweet gift. Miss Georgia is a beauty. Her name is Georgia Eli

{One Project Down, Several More to Go}

I caught my daughter Melissa trying to sneak out of my house recently with my newest Valentine addition. Those gals of mine!!!! January is halfway over with! WHAT???? But, about the time mid January rolls around I start thinking about doing a little Valentine Decor. But I needed to get my wreaths made to go with my Blessed sign that was gifted to me for Christmas first.  I decided to put a wreath on each side the Blessed sign.   The grapevine wreaths are simple with burlap, cotton from the good old cotton fields in Georgia and a little sprig of this and a sprig of that.  The cotton is definitely authentic for sure. REAL cotton isn't perfect! LOL!  I can't believe how much cotton I actually threw away! ESPECIALLY when I realized the cost of faux cotton. Dang, I could have sold what I had left huh?  This picture doesn't do the wall hangings justice. The lighting was not to my best interest when I snapped this. But I like how it turned out.

{YEP, A Crafting Spell Came On Me}

Don't you just love that meme? So this week I decided to share a few pictures and to tell y'all that I actually had a crafting spell come over me during Christmas! LOL! That doesn't happen often. But, first let me just share my gingerbread men with you.  They might make you smile today! Or Hungry!  I made some gingerbread men over the holidays for the grands and they were oh so good!  Not too shabby for my first time of making gingerbread men.   I actually got a little crafty over the holidays which doesn't happen often.  Took a piece of wood, sanded it and then spray painted it. Found the song "It is Well with my Soul" online for free so saved it to my computer. Then I found this beautiful red bird clip art for free and saved it. I done a little photo shop magic and placed my red bird on my song with a light opacity. I painted about 3-4 layers of modge podge and let it dry . Added some beads and a Poinsettia

{My Favorite Blog Photos from 2018 and My Word for 2019}

Happy New Year Everyone! I hope that your New Year has started off great for you and your family. I am trying real hard to get into the swing of things. Since about mid-November I have only worked 2 days a week and I can assure you though I have been busy with all the holiday festivities it sure has made me a tad lazy. Late nights watching Hallmark movies, hanging around in pj's with coffee till mid morning and baking way more than I needed too.... I didn't eat  anything I baked though ... Well, I have got to get back to a normal schedule. If for no other reason for my waistline!    Web Image  I see where different friends are posting their top blog posts for the year and I love going back and reminiscing with each one. Another sweet blogger decided to post her favorite pictures. I loved that idea. Since I only post once a week I decided to post one picture that was my favorite for the month.  January 2018: Copper Tablescape I enjoyed the copper look with the
