{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{Flipflops, Friends and Fellowship}

What a fun time... Flip flops, Friends and Fellowship ! Several of us ladies got together from our ladies ministry team and had a great time.  Our hostess was the best! She welcomed us into her beautiful home and made everyone feel "right at home"...flip flops and all! Don't you just love her festive summer wreath? This was the first time I've ever walked into someones home with a coconut tree! WE ALL LOVED IT!  I felt like I was in Hawaii.  Such a cute table setting. Everything was a beach theme and went so well with the theme of our social. Nuts and mints filled these flip flops! Rainbow punch, lemonade and water.  I made us a flip flop cake. I took the leftover cake (that did not have icing on it) and froze it. I see a truffle coming in the near future. And some sand pudding. Which my family loved too! Edible sunglasses. Ooh...the salted caramel was my favorite.  Look at these cute flip flops! Love the rag

{July 4th Tablescape}

 I decided to go ahead several weeks ago and do a little 4th of July tablescape so I could actually enjoy it. But...here July 4th is right around the corner and I feel like I have just put my dishes out!!! Half of 2016 is gone!!! Can you believe that? Found this cute basket at Walmart and spray painted it red. Also found the cute flowers there as well. Simple but cute centerpiece .  Don't you just love using little boxes for things? They are so versatile. I always love the opportunity to use my red dishes when I can.    Simple centerpiece on a burlap runner.  I wanted to incorporate my grandmother's cups and saucers into the red, white and blue theme for July 4th. Worked out great with my red chargers from Hobby Lobby and my white plates which was either a yard sale or thrift store purchase I can assure you. (LOL)   YEP really simple... I forgot I had made this cute little wreath last year but I'm glad I found it.  A littl

{Show and Tell}

Aren't the colors just beautiful? I love flowers that have that pinkish coral color to them.  Just a few closeups of my purple and pink Hydrangeas.  We had a great Friday night and Saturday with these two gra ndbabies. Friday night they had their singing, piano and guitar recital and then on Saturday.....W e kept them busy shucking corn, picking squash, peppers, working outside and inside...and well....I can assure you they slept good that night! They are such good help too!  Look at his face....YEP...think he's just a tad dirty! My rosemary is looking good and oh it smells so good. Do you see my new friend on the right hand side of the bucket?  Remember this cute set of mini pans I bought at a yard sale last week? Well the grandgirl decided to bake up some little cakes using them.  We decided instead of doing a filling we would do a topping.  These little mini cakes had my whole house smelling so good.  Then we whipped
