{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{Oh The JOYS of Christmas}

  I hope that your Christmas was Merry and Bright . Our holiday time as family has been so wonderful. It's kind of like Marty said though last night before going to bed. "You plan and plan, decorate, wrap, bake, cook, prepare and everything in between and it's OVER, just like that". YES, what he said is so true but this year I've tried in the midst of all the business of CHRISTmas to SIMPLY enjoy and ENJOY I did. WARNING: Picture overload!  What's not to enjoy when you God has given you six beautiful, healthy, wonderful grandchildren? They sure make EVERY occasion and holiday special for us. One of our grandchildren's gifts each year is matching PJ's. It's become a tradition that I truly love. I looked back just this morning over the years of pictures that we have been wearing matching pj's and I hope that it will be "one" of their fond memories of our Christmases together.   My beautiful daughters! I am not sure what I ever done

{Merry Christmas Everyone}

I hope that you all are enjoying the holidays. It seems that we all are extra busy this time of the year but I am surely enjoying my holiday. I spent half a day with my grandgirl at her school recently and we watched a movie, ate popcorn, baked Christmas cookies and made ornaments. It was so much fun.  The youngest grandgirls had a Christmas dance recital and oh my goodness! They done an awesome job and didn't miss a beat of their performance.  My girls and I had a wonderful Christmas outing and dined at River and Post Restaurant. I was quite impressed. We did not wait to be seated (we did have reservations), the waiter was above and beyond what was expected, the service was the best I've experienced lately and the food was awesome. Marty and I will be going there after the New Year for sure.  Upon arriving to work one morning I saw this cute gift sitting outside my office door with my name on it. I have no clue who surprised me but looks like whomever it was KNOWS ME WELL!  Gr

{Cocoa Bombs Are For The Win}

 Good Morning Morning everyone. Hope your morning has started off good.  I am actually sipping on my 2nd cup of coffee this morning and enjoying every drop. Yesterday Marty and I enjoyed breakfast for lunch at Denny's and my coffee mug was the THIS ONE! I loved it! So true for me.   Remember the little tacky shirt from last week? Well, the grandgirl sent me a picture this morning. She is ready for her tacky shirt day at school.  I had a little cocoa bomb making time at my house on Friday morning. I wanted to do a few little gifts for some special friends and I decided  that cocoa bombs was on my list.  Each one was filled with different goodies such as caramel bites, marshmallows, white and dark chocolate chips, peppermints crushed, edible glitter, and well, I can't remember what all I did put in these cuties.    I found the cute free printable tags on line so printed on card stock. The packaging was found at Walmart. They turned out so cute I think. I am going to make a few m

{It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year}

  Happy Monday Everyone! Hope that you have had a great weekend and enjoying the freshness of December so far. I sure am.  Kicked off my Friday with a loaded tea and sipped on it while headed out to do a little shopping. Y'all, I must admit that I have gotten so used to ordering things from Amazon Prime and that I find it hard to get out and actually shop. But, I wanted to get the "FEEL" of holiday time so out and about I went. I actually had a great time all by myself! Sometimes, we just need time for ourselves, ya know? The Lord has blessed me with harvesting two  doe this season....though I am still waiting on the big one to walk out..however, the deer hams sure do make some good deer hash over mashed potatoes. My Instant pot was sure a life saver too. QUICK and EASY.  Grandgirl Kyleigh needed an ugly shirt for a party so Nana tried to make it ugly...but a little cute too. I call it tacky shirt. Either way, she has a shirt for her party at school on ugly shirt or sweat
