{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{Tuesday's Thoughts}

Just so you know this is what happened when Nana turned her back for just ONE second! Matter of fact she had that little sweet hand ready to flush!  I sent my daughter, her mama, the picture I snapped and what does her mama say to me, "Mom, don't let her play in the toilet" . I mean, like, I just opened the toilet lid and said, "Go ahead Adalynn, play in the toilet". LOL!  Oh the joy and fun of grandbabies.  My youngest daughter, mama of that sweet girl playing in the toilet, just had a birthday. We celebrated with a big birthday dinner. Then she and her husba nd went out of town for a weekend and then ziplining. She had a great birthday.  Being the baby of three girls I can assure you she is spoiled and not just by her parents but her sister's too! God has truly blessed us with our girls. I hope that my blogging Texas friends are safe. I want you to know that I have been praying for you all. I have a friend that moved from Florid

{Happenings on the Home Front at Conner's Pond}

So, I saw this cute little pumpkin chalkboard at the Dollar Tree a few weeks ago and grabbed it. My hope was that it would put me in the FALLISH mood to start a little decorating for Fall. WELL IT DIDN'T! It's too stinking HOT for me to even begin to think about Fall. Then I noticed recently that my AC was not working properly. W hen I h ad to drag out the fan and threaten to join a nudist col on y I knew something was fixing to happen and QUICK! Now I will admit that I can HOT FLASH with the best of you but this had nothing to do with my hot flashes.  Needless to say my AC unit was in need of some freon and I did take care of that quickly.  Nope, I am still not in the FALL mood but I decided to use my pumpkin chalkboard.   THANK YOU JESUS FOR ALL GOOD THINGS!   I mean this is what happens around my house on Sunday afternoons after dinner and nobody can be sleeping HOT! I was going through old picture files and came across this one fr

{Let's Have A Little Fun and a little share time}

I thought we might have a little fun this week but first I must share this. I am so humbled at the transparency of so many of you with my last post concerning your deepest prayer need right now. I want you to know that for those of you that shared that I stopped and prayed for you. I am truly humbled at your being real with your needs and more humbled that the Lord would allow me the opportunity to stop and pray for you.  There is power in prayer! Okay so, let's have some fun and a little sharing today.  1: What has been the most embarrassing thing that you have done up to this point in life? 2: If you could only pick one place to live beside the place you currently live, where it would it be and why? 3: What is a phrase that you find yourself saying that you heard your entire life by a parent or grandparent? Last one: What Bible character at this time of your life do you feel that you relate too the most?  Before I answer these questions I have to sh
