{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{It's Getting That Time Again and Simply Curious}

Well, Bow season is around the corner and I am getting ready! Marty and I made a quick over night trip to ride around in the old Georgia pines and it sure gave me an itching to get my camo out. I done a little target practicing with my bow so I am READY ... We stopped by Carroll's Sausage and Country Store on our way home. Reminds me a little of Cracker Barrel with their decor. In which I did have me some breakfast at Cracker Barrel too. Their specialties there is no doubt their meats but oh do they have tons of other goodies. Yep, we came home with several goodies.    Since Football is getting started they had these specialty grills to sell. Well, it didn't strike my fancy at all...especially when I saw the price! Marty thought he needed a snack so he grabbed some meat and cheese sticks. The meat sticks was a tad spicy for me but he loved them. We did stop and do a little shopping and I found another e.l.f. product I am going to try.

{Tried and True and Tibits}

I haven't shared a "tried and true" lately so decided it was time. I enjoy hearing from others about different things they have tried and really like or loved. Of course I am one of those people that REVIEW everything...maybe a little too much, so it's great to see what others have tried and it has proven to be true.  I love a lot of the e.l.f. products and I really like the HD Powder in translucent. I ordered my last one from Amazon as I was ordering several things but you can get e.l.f. products at Walmart. Target usually has a better selection. Depends on where you buy it to the cost but I don't think I have ever paid more than $6 for the powder. I love the light feel of it. It doesn't come with a puff to apply but that doesn't matter to me because I use a brush to apply anyway. It does not make your face shine and the coverage is good enough for me.  It comes in several shades but I use the translucent. I really like the e.l.f. face

{Perm Rods, 4-Wheeler and Grands }

Well no, I didn't give myself a perm but I sure remember many a day of getting a perm. Oh my granny was in her prime giving us girls those home perms! I keep several of my grandgirls on Monday nights and Tuesdays during the summer months so recently my 11 year old grandgirl Mallory spotted a zip lock bag with these perm rods under my bathroom sink and naturally inquired, "WHAT IS THIS NANA?" . The fun began! No we didn't use a perm solution but boy did we have fun! Needless to say she wasn't THRILLED at all with the perm look. She recently got braces and when I took those perm rods out of her hair I couldn't help but laugh and think, "Child, you look just like you stepped out of the 80's". Those perm rods actually belonged to my granny and they surely brought back many memories. I kept this sweet girl one day last week too and oh is she BUSY .  We done everything you could imagine.    We had a "baby tea party&q
