{I Am Retired Y'all!}

  It sure is a bittersweet time but I am surely looking forward to my adventure with the Lord. I wanted to share a few pictures with my friends. I have received so many phone calls, texts, cards and gifts this week that have just brought tears and joy.  Turning in my office keys of many years was hard! But, Jeremiah 29:11 is surely reminder that God has set the plans for my life and that I will trust.  I only had the blessing of serving alongside Pastor Scott for nearly a year and I pray God's blessings upon him and his family as his journey continues. However, he is a quick learner and learned that I was the BOSS! LOL! The former pastor and his wife that hired me 22 plus years ago even tuned in to the recognition with a video. It melted my heart. I will never forget interviewing with Bro. Edsel in his office and then I was interviewed by the personnel team.  Lastly, Bro. Edsel's wife Judy interviewed me at a luncheon. Bro. Edsel trusted her discernment of me totally. However,

{Family Fun and Cranberry Bread Recipe}

What have you all done fun lately? I ask a f riend of mine that question on Sunday at church as I usually don't see her because she s its upstairs in the balcony. She smiled and said, "FUN? I don't even know the meaning of that word unless it means to go to work 5 days a week, come home, cook, wash and clean and then righ t back at i t". She love s to deer hunt and yes, she has harvested several deer. And she love s to

I am more of your "Let's set a few goals to aim for and really try" and "let's think of a few things you'd really like to do in the New Year and aim towards it" . I am however one that asks the Lord to give me a WORD for the New Year that will help me to focus on Him more whether it is that I hear it in a sermon, read it in scripture, or see it on a sign or whatever. My Word for 2017 as most of you know is "Believe" . Well, the meaning of that word came all the more to life for me when we visited the Ark. If you missed my first post and would like a review on The Ark Encounter you can find it here. Marty and I for the most part enjoy the same things, same outin
