{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

{Enjoying The Little Things In Life}

  I hope that you all are enjoying your Sunday afternoon. Our family has left to go home after our Sunday dinner so now I am sitting down to enjoy a cup of hot black  tea with honey. I should be sitting outside on the porch drinking my tea but it's a tad chilly today. Us Floridians just aren't sure how to dress these days for our weather. On Saint Patrick's day I decided to brew myself a cup of green tea and since I was having a very heathy tea I decided to have a shortbread cookie dipped in chocolate. LOL! I actually stumbled across the small box of shortbread cookies in my pantry that apparently I had tucked in the far back corner behind some boxes of dry items. These cookies had been gifted to me in a gift basket in February. I suddenly remembered that I had hid them in the pantry so the grands wouldn't eat them. However, I hid them from myself too! LOL!  Do you like green tea? I have several friends that don't but I love mixing them with other teas or just havin...

{Good Times With Family}

I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Our family surely enjoyed our day with extended family. We always have MORE than you could imagine to eat and such a great time together.  Granddaughter Mallory turned 14 on Nov. 23rd so we celebrated her a few days before Thanksgiving with cake and ice cream. She had a great birthday. She went to see The Christmas Carol at the Alhambra Dinner Theatre and loved it.   We snapped a few pictures on Thanksgiving day and as always, I am so proud of my family.  I did take a little time for "tea time" and whipped up a pineapple, mango, and cinnamon spice loaded tea. YUM! We loaded up Thanksgiving afternoon and went with the guys to our hunting grounds and done a little hunting, eating out and shopping. My oldest daughter didn't go as my grandson had a football game. Which, she doesn't hunt either but hates being left out so.... She cloned herself in our picture. LOL! Aren't these shoes the cutest? I found these at TJ Maxx...
