{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

{Fall Please Come To Florida}

Well I am LATE in making a post this week!  Marty and I took three days off to do a little bow hunting in those old Georgia Pines. Camo, lipstick and earrings is a must for this huntress! LOL! A girl still gotta look like a girl...even when hunting right?  We had a good time. I actually had a nice breeze in my tree stand. Though no harvest was bagged we just enjoyed being away. Some of the sweetest times for me with the Lord is while I am sitting in a tree stand.  Had the two youngest grandgirls for a couple of days and of course we had a tea party! And sprinkles...we have sprinkles on EVERYTHING !  I've really enjoyed making coffees, shakes and loaded teas. Dang, I am getting pretty good at this! LOL! Everything I have made has been healthy, low in calories. Well, maybe I did add a whip or two of whipped cream and chocolate syrup!  Y'all, I won all these books! I was so surprised to get an email from my friend Cheryl at  http://www.homespundevotions.com/ ...

{The Winner of the Giveaway and Whitetail Deer Hunting with the Family}

  I am getting a late start to sharing with you all this week. But, better late than never huh? Sharing one of my beautiful sunflower blooms with you today. Isn't she just lovely? I always plant sunflowers this time of year and this year it seemed that they had a hard time getting started for various reasons. But now they are coming into bloom and I am sure am enjoying these beauties.    I spent the weekend hunting with these ladies and there is nothing like being in the great outdoors with your girls and grands doing what you enjoy. My oldest daughter doesn't hunt but our whole family enjoys venison and about anyway it's cooked.     We goofed off some too.....but we sure had a great time.       But.....Nana brought home supper! YES!  I see some fried back strap on my plate real soon. To be quite honest, it's not about the harvest for me. It's about spending time with those I love the most, and some of my sweetest times with the Lord is ...

{Winner of Giveaway, Fun Times and Eye Shadow Review}

All you need is love , all you need is love , All you need is love , love . Love is all you need. That song by the Beatles came to my mind as I was writing this post to share this week.  This is my newest addition to my little room. I love my little sign. Speaking of LOVE , I sure do love these babies. We had a Nana sleepover and a fun day which means that you can go to bed when you want too, get up when you want too, get dressed if you want too or stay in pj's all day! The best part is that you can eat what you want too! LOL! I have been known to let the kids have lemon heads for breakfast if they wanted them and I told them it was a fruit so it was okay. They had fun in the little garden picking peppers, squash, tomatoes and smelling all my herbs. Then it was time to make brownies. NO, we didn't have them for breakfast. LOL! We actually had bacon, eggs and toast...then a brownie!!! Then to the grands play room we went where  we ha...
