Happy May! I wanted to pop in and share a few pictures from my month of April which seemed to fly by quickly. As I am trying to catch up with my blogging friends today I realized it had been a month since I last posted. My mercy! But, I am so busy doing this thing we call life here on earth and enjoying every moment that I can. With my immediate family of 14 there is never a dull moment y'all! We had three family birthdays in April. My SIL David, granddaughter Adalynn and oldest granddaughter Raygen. Our favorite grandson Conner (only grandson) carried his girl to the prom. We had to snap at least one picture with Mom and Nana! Two of my elementary school friends and I get together at least once every 4-5 weeks so we went to breakfast and then to Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. We always have so much fun. The gardens are so beautiful that I couldn't even attempt to snap all the pictures I wanted. There are so many beautiful paintings to look at this but this was one of
I heard this song on Monday for the first time and loved it. Let me share just a few words from this powerful song.
I am guilty
Ashamed of what I've done, what I've become
These hands are dirty
I dare not lift them up to the Holy one
These hands are dirty
I dare not lift them up to the Holy one
You plead my cause
You right my wrongs
You brake my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be
You right my wrongs
You brake my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be
I've been hiding
Afraid I've let you down, inside I doubt
That You still love me
But in Your eyes there's only grace now
Afraid I've let you down, inside I doubt
That You still love me
But in Your eyes there's only grace now
You plead my cause
You right my wrongs
You brake my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be
You right my wrongs
You brake my chains
You overcome
You gave Your life
To give me mine
You say that I am free
How can it be
How can it be
Though I fall, You can make me new
From this death I will rise with You
Oh the grace reaching out for me
How can it be
How can it be
From this death I will rise with You
Oh the grace reaching out for me
How can it be
How can it be
If you have ever felt that God does not love you or need you, you are WRONG! If you ever think that you have been the worst sinner ever, you are WRONG! We all are sinners and only saved by GRACE. If you think God can't take your ashes and turned them into BEAUTY...you are WRONG! If you think that God cannot break the chains of the hell in your life then you are WRONG! If you think that God cannot pick you up when you fall then my friend....THINK AGAIN! You can never out-sin God's love for you. NEVER! His grace reaches far and wide. We cannot fathom the depth of His mighty love for us.
I shared with a sweet young woman just this morning that our Lord loves us just the way we are but HE DOES NOT want to leave us where we're at! He can right all your wrongs!
HOW CAN IT BE? BECAUSE HE CAN!!!
Turn up the volume and listen....listen....
Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Music is in the air today! :) Awesome song...I'm so glad God looks past all my sins and shortcomings and loves me still.....that's so hard to grasp! Hope you have a great day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteMe too Deb!
DeleteI've heard this song a lot on our local Christian radio. The one thing I don't care for about the song is that you would question "how can it be". It's by what HE did on the cross. That's how. We know that all the things listed in the verse are true and they are only through the finished work of the cross and our acceptance of that gift,,,THAT's how! I only wish this one line were something different.
ReplyDeleteOther wise I love the song, the tempo, the drive, the passion with which she sings it. I can't wait to hear more from this young lady.
How can it be...YES by what He did on the cross is for sure my friend. For me the song simply makes me think of how can Christ do for me like He does...nothing but an old sinner saved by Grace. So many times I have wondered, How could Christ love me! Praise the Lord He does! Thanks for popping by.
ReplyDeleteGood song.

Hi Cindy! Oh, I love that song, never heard it before. I know, I know, as boogery as we are, God still loves us. I think of an older song by Kathy Tracoli (may have misspelled) called "Stubborn Love"~ it's Your stubborn that never lets go of me...I don't understand why You could stay, perfect love embracing the worst in me. How I long for Your stubborn love!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shelia ;)
I love Kathy Traccoli too! Thanks for popping by for a minute Sheila. I think of you often and how we prayed so hard for things concerning your sweet little mother. Hugs my friend.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too Heather.
DeleteOh Cindy, this is such a precious reminder of the power of God's love and forgiveness. Thank you so much for sharing with us...and love that song!
ReplyDeleteI love her voice too!
DeleteCindy, I love the words to this song! Have not heard it before. I'll be back to listen. I have a new laptop and can't remember how to turn it up. lol! I always feel so bad when someone feels they are alone and that God is not there for them. Nothing could be further than the truth. I have never felt that way and it's hard for me to understand.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Jann
I told a young women recently...He is "before you take your next breath" away!
DeleteHe has shown me His love so many times. There are times when I feel it falling like rain all around me. How wonderful that He loves a sinner like me.
ReplyDeletePraise the Lord He loves us so!
DeleteWe are all sinners saved by his grace. It has nothing to do with anything we have done, but his love for us and the finished work on the cross. There is freedom in believing that. Lovely song
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteAwesome song! Thanks for sharing it!!
ReplyDeleteI love it too!
