{It's A New Beginning Y'all}

  It's a tad late to wish a  Happy New Year but I sure hope that it's kicked off good for everyone. Ours kicked off with being so THANKFUL for what God has done and is doing. As I told my family as we were reminiscing over 2024, "There is a lot of 2024 I DO NOT WANT A RE-DO but the Lord has surely taught me so very much. I am truly thankful for each breath, each day, family and close friends. We had our three youngest grands for New Years Eve. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed a little fishing, bonfire with their great-grandfather and roasting marshmallows. Their great-grandfather will be 90 years old next month. As most of you know I do a monthly focus board and this makes my 3rd or 4th year. I've lost count. Only fitting that New Beginnings would be my focus for January. This has been so good for me as it sits on my kitchen counter so I can see it daily. Wonderful way to focus and quote God's Word daily.  I felt up to hosting a lunch and movie day with ...

{Sweet Summertime}

 Well friends, it seems that I cannot catch up with blogging as of late. Summer time is filled to the brim with all sorts of things but I am here today. We spent the night and just enjoyed being out in God's beautiful creation. My Succulents are thriving even in this heat! I need to pull out the weeds from them but too hot to stay outside long. I snapped this picture of my granddaughter Kyleigh in church. It just me...

{Warning! Picture Overload}

  I can't believe that it's a been a month since I posted nor that half of the year is gone! Mercy! Family vacation and playing catch-up along with the just the norm of life has surely taken priority but rightfully so. Right?  Our family spent a most wonderful vacation together as we made memories in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon and Key West. We rented a house in Marathon that would accommodate all 14 of us and we were quite pleased. We had our own private pool, dock, covered porch and balcony. We rented a boat and oh we enjoyed that so much with fishing and just riding. I have so many pictures that I wish I could share with you all but mercy, not enough time in the day. I did post on my Facebook page all of our pictures and just a few on Instagram.  We went to so many different places and encountered many new sights and sounds along the way. The places that we dined not only had great food but beautiful surroundings. YES, I would love to go back one day but I will say...
