{Baking, Family, Friends and Fun}

Oh my! It's been a month since I have blogged. I honestly have found it hard to keep up but I am blaming on family time! What better explanation could I have huh? Well, maybe BAKING ! Vanilla cake with chocolate sauce filling and cool whip with powdered sugar icing topped with sprinkles.  Chocolate with fresh strawberry filling with buttercream frosting and a touch of candy pearls. Butter cake with buttercream icing and chocolate sauce.   There has been a whole lot of baking going on at my house. I get in these moods at times. Family & friends have enjoyed my gifts of love. My daughter Melissa and I carried my granddaughter Kyleigh and one of her sweet friends to see Snow White. We had such a fun time with the girls. Our family enjoyed watching our granddaughter Adalynn in her first cheer competition. Her team won 1st place.  Our granddaughter Mallory attended her Junior prom and had the best time. {Sweet Summertime}

 Well friends, it seems that I cannot catch up with blogging as of late. Summer time is filled to the brim with all sorts of things but I am here today. We spent the night and just enjoyed being out in God's beautiful creation. My Succulents are thriving even in this heat! I need to pull out the weeds from them but too hot to stay outside long. I snapped this picture of my granddaughter Kyleigh in church. It just me...

  I can't believe that it's a been a month since I posted nor that half of the year is gone! Mercy! Family vacation and playing catch-up along with the just the norm of life has surely taken priority but rightfully so. Right?  Our family spent a most wonderful vacation together as we made memories in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon and Key West. We rented a house in Marathon that would accommodate all 14 of us and we were quite pleased. We had our own private pool, dock, covered porch and balcony. We rented a boat and oh we enjoyed that so much with fishing and just riding. I have so many pictures that I wish I could share with you all but mercy, not enough time in the day. I did post on my Facebook page all of our pictures and just a few on Instagram.  We went to so many different places and encountered many new sights and sounds along the way. The places that we dined not only had great food but beautiful surroundings. YES, I would love to go back one day but I will say...
