Well, when I say it's been cold in Florida then it's been cold! Mercy. I don't do extreme cold nor heat. Think I need to move to the Bahamas's or Hawaii! LOL! Speaking of cold Marty and I went to the mountains for a little getaway and of course our favorite place to go is Blueridge, Ga. However, temps never got above freezing. We actually had 6 degree temps a few times. BRR........ We normally go mid to late February but this year for a late Celebration of ringing the bell Marty wanted to go in January. No planning for months, no wondering what we would do from day to day but simply a getaway to rest, relax and refresh our spirits. WHICH WE DID JUST THAT. We surely didn't play in the snow long but did get a tad of play time in. The cabin was still decorated with Christmas and that I truly loved as I love all things Christmas. We stayed by the fire a lot which was so nice. The cabin had a fireplace inside and one outside on the partially closed porch with a...
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. Our family surely did. When all of your children and grandchildren are together, what could be better?
My favorite peeps call me Nana!
I'll be linking up with Stephanie on April 19th for the exciting revealing of the Tea cup and mug exchange but I couldn't stand it any longer so I had to share. I just love participating in Stephanie's Tea Cup and Mug Exchange. This is my 2nd time of having the opportunity to participate and needless to say it is a true blessing for me.
I came home one afternoon to find this lovely package waiting for me.
Oh I could not wait to open my beautifully wrapped gift. But, I waited until my man came home so he could watch me. YES, I am like a kid at Christmas!
When I opened this beautiful tea cup I was giddy! I had seen that pattern several months earlier and almost bought myself the same cup and saucer! So glad that I didn't.
The Butterfly Meadow collection is so lovely. I quickly registered my cup and saucer as Lenox usually carries a plan that if a piece is broken they will replace it at 50% off the regular price if you register it.
And look at my different flavors of tea.
The doilies and napkins are so pretty. Matter of fact I used some of both for Easter.
YUM....The Chocolates and Biscotti were indeed a delight! Needless to say, I caught my man diving into my milk chocolate caramel, which was okay, but, I had to warn him to save me a few pieces. LOL! The candle smelled good enough to eat.
Such a lovely gift from a lovely lady that I enjoyed so much getting to meet. We gabbed back and forth for a while by email and had such a good visit.
If you get the opportunity be sure to visit with her. Debbie Ray is such a precious soul.

I was given Lisa's name from a "Little Bits of Blessings".
https://littlebitsofblessings.blogspot.com/
I couldn't wait to make her a little treat box in which brought me such joy and delight.
It began with this lovely Tea Cup, Earl Grey Black Tea and this lovely decorative box in which I almost kept for myself! LOL!
Nestled inside this lovely box I found two cute ivory doilies along with some wonderful chocolates, a few extra teas, lovely Spring dish towels and a wonderful book on prayer.
It was so much fun participating in the exchange and I cannot thank Stephanie enough for all that she does to make this happen. She is one special gal. Pop over and visit with Stephanie. She is such a delight and a wonderful blogging friend to many.

Be sure to pop over and see all the beautiful tea cups and mugs on Wednesday.
I am looking forward to the next exchange already.
Here is to you having a great day and if you want to make it better then.....Have a CUPPA of tea.

Cindy, I love your shirt! Too cute. Looks like you did get a lovely gift in the mail and the lady that you gave too did too. I tried secret sisters once and decided my mind is too crazy to keep up with things such as this. But, I enjoyed looking at your goodies.
ReplyDeleteConnie Royals
Thanks Connie. I love the shirt too! I've done the secret sister thing several times and decided it wasn't for me! But this is great the way Stephanie does it with the tea cup and mug exchange. You don't have to have a blog to participate either. Hope you had a good Easter girl.

ReplyDeleteYes, girly! I love it Christine.
DeleteWow! You tea ladies go all out! What wonderful gifts you received and gave. I don't participate because I don't know the first thing about tea or teacups and I don't want to mess it up! Now coffee is another story!
ReplyDeleteAnn Marie, you can exchange a mug as well. It's so much fun!
DeleteOh my goodness, what lovely gifts you received from Debby, my friend. I received from Debby at the last teacup exchange, and we've since become friends. Isn't it a small world? Our dear friend Stephanie does such a fabulous job in her teacup mission, doesn't she? We get doubly blessed!

DeleteWhat a fun idea Cindy! The Lenox set is beautiful. I had gotten one for my wedding and treasure it to this day! And that decorative box you had given is also very lovely. Now don't get me started on the treats and teas. I am officially on a diet, since at Easter time here in Greece we overdo it just a bit too much.
ReplyDeleteLol! I know what you mean about overdoing it ! Thank you for stopping by sweet lady .
