{Baking, Family, Friends and Fun}

Oh my! It's been a month since I have blogged. I honestly have found it hard to keep up but I am blaming on family time! What better explanation could I have huh? Well, maybe BAKING ! Vanilla cake with chocolate sauce filling and cool whip with powdered sugar icing topped with sprinkles.  Chocolate with fresh strawberry filling with buttercream frosting and a touch of candy pearls. Butter cake with buttercream icing and chocolate sauce.   There has been a whole lot of baking going on at my house. I get in these moods at times. Family & friends have enjoyed my gifts of love. My daughter Melissa and I carried my granddaughter Kyleigh and one of her sweet friends to see Snow White. We had such a fun time with the girls. WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD-OVERWHELMED

  Just daily life can overwhelm us at times can't it? We get to the end of our day and look at our 10 pages of to-d o list and we think to ourse lves "Will CALGONE reall y take me away?". We can't or we haven't learned to say NO!   Tip:  Did you know that according to most health-re lated phys icians that sometimes (not all the time) a depressed state of mind is b...

WEDNESDAY IN THE WORD-TRUST

Awe...it feels good to be back to blogging a little. Not sure how much blogging I will do but hopefully I can at least keep up with my Wednesday in the Word! I do love it.   I do want to send out a great big THANK YOU for those of you that have expressed to me in such a personal way that I was missed! You will never know what that has meant to me! T HANK YOU !   I was working on my Bible study for this week and wouldn't you know it? It is basically on Trusting God. We are so quick to say to ourselves and to others that YES we do trust God but I am afraid that if we were to be truthful that most of us are by " Totally Tr usting " God like we are a smorgasbord at a restaurant. We like to pick and choose what we really Trust Him with.  The real issue of the matter is that we want to control!  Control is the se cret ad ultress to good intent! Think about it! We really have good intentions but just like a robber hiding in a dark closet, control ambush...
