{Happy Resurrection Day}

I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month.  Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now!  Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said!  I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style.  The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters.  Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo

{How about a Cuppa of Tea with a few Princesses}

Someone said to me recently, "Miss Cindy, your family sure does party a lot". LOL! So very true and we love every minute of it!

My granddaughter Kyleigh will be celebrating her 5th birthday May 16 so we decided to do her party a little early and a Grand Party it was!

Non other than a Princess Tea Party for our Princess Ky.

When my daughter told me that she wanted to do Ky a Princess Tea Party my heart took about 3 leaps.....Oh yes I do love me a sweet tea party!

Every little Princess immediately found their name tag and sat down to their very own crown, wand and prissy fan.

These little girls was princesses indeed.

Each little girl was a different princess. Don't you just love the colors of their dresses?

The older girls at the party served the young princesses and as you can see they even fanned them to keep them cool. (That's the life now isn't it?)

Princess food was enjoyed as they had Aurora's Forest fruit, Ariel's Waves, Sleeping Beauty Pillows, Princess Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches, Princess Turkey Sandwiches, Princess Pink Punch with Princess Pink Popcorn,Cookies and Cupcakes.

These young Princesses was ready for Princess Pink Punch in their teacups.

They gracefully enjoyed their cuppa of tea punch.

This sweet girl loved her little prissy fan.

After a fine Princess Lunch it was time to do makeup and nails.

My oldest two grandgirls had the honor of putting on their makeup and painting their nails.

Oh my! These little Princesses eagerly waited their turn.

This sweet Princess LOVED her nails.

A Princess can't go wrong when she has freshly painted nails, a hunk of a ring on her finger and lipstick in hand...right?

This Princess needed just a little more lipstick.

And this little Princess loved what she saw!

The little Princesses loved seeing themselves in the mirror with their fine jewels, makeup and nails.

After the nails dried it was time to play pin the lips on the frog.

This frog has lips now! (and several, lol)

Now it was time for Cupcakes and singing Happy Birthday to Princess Kyleigh.

They gathered around Kyleigh and sang. I just love the smile on Ky's face.

She was surely a Happy little Princess.

Time for presents. YIPPEE!

She even got a Princess doll that looked just like her!

The Princesses found our newest baby Princess and had to have their picture made with her.

But this little Princess slept through the party!

Each Princess had her own princess bag and needless to say it was filled with lots of goodies to take home.
They couldn't wait to get their bags filled.

Each Princess also carried home a sweet little flower.

Just one more hug before leaving.

Not sure they want the party to end.

This Princess had so much fun that she just had to twirl!

And Princess Ky had a wonderful Princess Tea Party Birthday celebration.

 Just think! Our Lord Jesus knew each of these little princesses before conception and His Word tells us He has a plan for their lives. Jeremiah 29:11 says,
 "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future".
These little girls are indeed our future generation of women. It's my prayer that God will use them in a great and mighty way to show Himself to a lost world.

Thanks so much for tagging along with me for my granddaughter's Princess Tea Birthday Celebration.

Be sure to pop over and visit.

Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Loved all the pictures.It won't be long before that new grandgirl will be able to join in on the fun. She looks like a baby doll. Sharing your post with Paula who is planning a party for her 7 year old niece. She may borrow these ideas.

  2. I can see Kyleigh enjoyed being a birthday princess! What a party. These are memories your family will always cherish. I love how you do it all. I think you should write a book. I learn so much from your enthusiasm and style. I wish I lived closer to my grandchildren so I could do this more. I do "kid's mail" really well. It's kind of like getting a party in the mail. Ha. 7. Hi Cindy! If you lived closer to my daughter, I'd have you do a party for my grands! They LOVE the princesses, and I recognized many of the dresses your little guests had on.
    What a great idea to have them stuff their own goodie bags! It's an activity, and they get to see everything before they go. Love that! And I love the older ones doing the honors of the nail polish. Perfect! (That pink royal draping was wonderful.)
    Great job!!

Her mom already has planned her 7th birthday in Sept. They are going to have a fairy party and the friends will each make a little fairy garden. I pick up anything that will work whenever I am out thrifting. Love the photos of the girls admiring their makeup! Happy Birthday to your sweet Kyleigh!

Hiding the Ugly Hot Water Heater

 I shared that I wanted to hide my ugly hot water heater in my laundry room with you a few weeks ago. It just stuck out like a sore thumb. But after all it is a hot water heater right? So my man took a piece of wood (not real wood) but it worked and built a frame for me. So now to see if it would fit and it did. I painted it white and did not like the texture it had even after two coats of white. (rule of thumb...you get what you pay for and the wood was cheap) But I wasn't going to let it whip me!  Found some contact paper at Walmart in the gray and white. Covered the front with the contact paper and loved the look. The top was covered with a piece of painted wood as well and worked perfect to place this on top... And this.... Added a clothes basket in the corner and here was the top.... Yep, no longer an eye sore to me! Went perfect with my gray walls and gray and white floor. Remember the wood tray I bought at a yard

{Happy 46th Wedding Anniversary To Us}

  Happy October everyone! I wanted to pop in today and share a few pictures. Marty and I celebrated our 46th wedding anniversary on September 23.  Oh it seems so long ago that we said "I Do". We started dating when I was 16. Married at 18 and began a family at 20. Needless to say we have surely grown up together. Praise the Lord that we are growing "Older" together.  We decided since it had been about 8-9 years since we had been to Savannah, Ga. that we would take a weekend there and just enjoy a scenic luncheon cruise.  We enjoyed walking River street and sightseeing, shopping and eating of course! It was a nice get away and perfect for us as we are simply two imperfect people that fit perfectly together.  I did spot Santa while in Savannah though! YES, I love Christmas so I had to stop at several Christmas shops! We've had outings that have kept us quite busy and we have surely been blessed to be able to attend our grands functions and our little outings toget

{SON-Flowers}

Don't you just love sunflowers? When I think about sunflowers I think of two things. My motherinlove who loved sunflowers and Fall. I came across a devotional written by Julia Bettencourt on sunflowers and thought it so appropriate for today as I wanted to share my sunflowers with you. Here's a few lessons we can learn from the sunflower.    Sunflowers Track The Sun.   Most plants are attracted to light but the flowering head of the sunflower actually tracks the sun following it's path and moving toward where it is in the sky all during the day. I read somewhere that sunflowers track the sun when they are in bud stage. Isn't that how it usually goes for us as Christians? When we first come to know the Lord, we get excited about knowing all about Him and living for Him, but after awhile we sometimes grow a little preoccupied with other things and get our eyes off of the Lord.   Wouldn't it be great if as a Christian we'd track th
