{It's Been A Hot Minute Y'all}

  Well, it's not HOT in my neck of the woods in temperature (not today anyway) but it's sure been a HOT minute since I last posted. For that I am so sorry but it seems my life has been consumed with doctor appointments, tests, and MORE tests, biopsies, surgery and so much more. One day at a time sweet Jesus is all that any of us can ask for. Wanted to pop in on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to share a little about what I've been up too.  Marty and I enjoyed a weekend at the beach before I had breast cancer surgery and took advantage of the time I had in between so many doctor appointments and testing. It was sure a good little getaway.  We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary in September. WOW! Just babies! LOL! We were high school sweethearts. Started dating at age 16. Married at age 18 and started a family at age 20.  We celebrated Marty's birthday in October. He says that he's feeling his age these days. LOL! He still works 4 days a week and has a long commu...

{Family Fun and Cranberry Bread Recipe}

What have you all done fun lately? I ask a f riend of mine that question on Sunday at church as I usually don't see her because she s its upstairs in the balcony. She smiled and said, "FUN? I don't even know the meaning of that word unless it means to go to work 5 days a week, come home, cook, wash and clean and then righ t back at i t". She is catcher and a batter and well, will play most any spot they put her in.      She is one of those well rounded girls. Loves to dress u p in her pretty outfits with her jewels and bows. She love s to deer hunt and yes, she has harvested several deer. And she love s to ...

{Our Trip to Kentucky With More Reviews}

Our trip to Kentucky to see The Ark Encounter was great. I am not a "New Year Resolution" kinda gal as I've tried that and failed to keep the New Year Resolutions that I made. I am more of your "Let's set a few goals to aim for and really try" and "let's think of a few things you'd really like to do in the New Year and aim towards it" . I am however one that asks the Lord to give me a WORD for the New Year that will help me to focus on Him more whether it is that I hear it in a sermon, read it in scripture, or see it on a sign or whatever. My Word for 2017 as most of you know is "Believe" . Well, the meaning of that word came all the more to life for me when we visited the Ark. If you missed my first post and would like a review on The Ark Encounter you can find it here. http://creationsbycindyphotography.blogspot.ca/2017/03/the-ark-encounter-in-kentucky.html Marty and I for the most part enjoy the same things, same outin...
