{Hello friends}

  Hoping this finds my sister bloggers doing well on this windy Sunday afternoon. Yep, we've got a little wind howling around here and a tad cool but I am enjoying a lazy afternoon. My Sunday lunch crowd (my family) have left for the day so I am kicked back. Sunday menu today consisted of: Chicken and dressing Giblet gravy Italian green beans with ham Mac & Cheese Homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache.  Yep, they are little spoiled at Nana's house. I am not a huge fan of cakes with icing but it must have been good as one of the grands had two slices.  These gals and I have been friends for more years than I remember and since we've all retired within a few months apart in retirement and age (dating back to 4th grade in school) we try to get together once every 4-6 weeks. We always do something extra for our birthdays but was a tad late celebrating mine this year together due to other appointments that was a must. We always have a gr...

{Family Fun and Cranberry Bread Recipe}

What have you all done fun lately? I ask a f riend of mine that question on Sunday at church as I usually don't see her because she s its upstairs in the balcony. She smiled and said, "FUN? I don't even know the meaning of that word unless it means to go to work 5 days a week, come home, cook, wash and clean and then righ t back at i t". She love s to deer hunt and yes, she has harvested several deer. And she love s to ...

I am more of your "Let's set a few goals to aim for and really try" and "let's think of a few things you'd really like to do in the New Year and aim towards it" . I am however one that asks the Lord to give me a WORD for the New Year that will help me to focus on Him more whether it is that I hear it in a sermon, read it in scripture, or see it on a sign or whatever. My Word for 2017 as most of you know is "Believe" . Well, the meaning of that word came all the more to life for me when we visited the Ark. If you missed my first post and would like a review on The Ark Encounter you can find it here. http://creationsbycindyphotography.blogspot.ca/2017/03/the-ark-encounter-in-kentucky.html Marty and I for the most part enjoy the same things, same outin...
