{Hello friends}

  Hoping this finds my sister bloggers doing well on this windy Sunday afternoon. Yep, we've got a little wind howling around here and a tad cool but I am enjoying a lazy afternoon. My Sunday lunch crowd (my family) have left for the day so I am kicked back. Sunday menu today consisted of: Chicken and dressing Giblet gravy Italian green beans with ham Mac & Cheese Homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache.  Yep, they are little spoiled at Nana's house. {Alfresco Dining For Two, Birthday Party and Sweet Moments}

I hope that you all enjoyed your Memorial Day. It sure was a hot day in my neck of the woods but it didn't stop me from having a little red, white and blue fun. I am so thankful for those who have and is currently serving in the Military. I have family members that have served our country and one that is still serving. My grandfather served in the Navy, my brother served in the Navy, my uncle served in the Airforce, one of my soninlove's served in the Marines and I have a nephew that still is serving in the Navy. I praise the Lord for every one of these men.  A lot going on these days for me it seems. We have been very busy with grandbabies birthday's and just celebrated our youngest granddaughter Annaleigh for her 1st birthday.  She has a mouth full of teeth, taking 4-5 steps, smiles all the time and has somewhat of a sweet-sassy personality going on. I LOVE IT! For Memorial Day my family had their own plans for the holiday so I decided that me and my man...

Our niece Becca is expecting her first baby is July so our family threw her a little baby shower. Bohemian style.  My SIL Becky found a lady to make all the flowers, leaves and etc. and she simply placed it on bead board for a backdrop. I thought it turned out adorable.   This cute little mama to be enjoyed her shower very much. She's having a girl in case you can't tell by the decor. It is her motherinlove's, my SIL Becky's first grandchild. Needless to say there is excitement in the air! Oh I remember the birth of my first grandchild as though it was yesterday. Now she is 15 years old. We had a dessert only shower and oh my! Too much good stuff to choose from. See that adorable cake in the center? My SIS Shirley makes the BEST hummingbird cake you will ever eat! It is probably her most requested dessert.   Butter...
