{Hello friends}

  Hoping this finds my sister bloggers doing well on this windy Sunday afternoon. Yep, we've got a little wind howling around here and a tad cool but I am enjoying a lazy afternoon. My Sunday lunch crowd (my family) have left for the day so I am kicked back. Sunday menu today consisted of: Chicken and dressing Giblet gravy Italian green beans with ham Mac & Cheese Homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache.  Yep, they are little spoiled at Nana's house. {Merry Christmas Everyone}

My Skinny Tree in a Sleigh I have sure missed blogging with everyone but after I returned from New York with my family it seems that I have been full steam ahead. Two of my daughter's had been to New York so knew the ropes pretty much. THANK THE LORD they did because this country ...

Isn't this just the sweetest picture ever? My daughter snapped this of her two girls right after they put up their tree and it just melted this Nana's heart.  I hope that you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We surely did. As always we have such a big gathering with Marty's family at my Fatherinlove's home each year. Lots of food but most importantly, a sweet time of fellowship.  The day after Thanksgiving me and my two youngest daughters with three of the grandgirls hit the Black Friday Shopping. My oldest daughter and her family took a trip to Universal in Orlando, Fl. so she wasn't with us. Honestly, the crowds weren't as bad as I had anticipated. The lines were a little long but hey...what do we expect when we go out Black Friday shopping, right?  Of course, we ended our day with Starbucks and that makes everything okay in my book! Most of you know that I LOVE my little corner chair in my dining room and use it for so ...
