{It's A New Beginning Y'all}

  It's a tad late to wish a  Happy New Year but I sure hope that it's kicked off good for everyone. Ours kicked off with being so THANKFUL for what God has done and is doing. As I told my family as we were reminiscing over 2024, "There is a lot of 2024 I DO NOT WANT A RE-DO but the Lord has surely taught me so very much. I am truly thankful for each breath, each day, family and close friends. We had our three youngest grands for New Years Eve. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed a little fishing, bonfire with their great-grandfather and roasting marshmallows. Their great-grandfather will be 90 years old next month. As most of you know I do a monthly focus board and this makes my 3rd or 4th year. I've lost count. Only fitting that New Beginnings would be my focus for January. This has been so good for me as it sits on my kitchen counter so I can see it daily. Wonderful way to focus and quote God's Word daily.  I felt up to hosting a lunch and movie day with ...

{It's Almost August}

 Hello Sweet Sunday Afternoon! Where in the world has July went? In a few more days we will be venturing into August and I feel the summer is passing quickly. I want to say that several have pointed out blogger issues from me. Some of you are getting that I am a non-reply blogger. I have no clue why. Our 2021 Family Beach trip was wonderful. Seven days of beautiful weather, good food and good fellowship was had by all. I shared a few pictures on Instagram and a lot on Facebook. Marty and I are truly blessed to be able to do a beach trip yearly with our tribe.    These gals sure know how to have fun and there is never a dull moment with my girls.     The weather was beautiful all week with the exemption of one day that we had a little rain but only lasted about 30 minutes.  And just so y'all know...I did wear all my hats that I carried to the beach! LOL!  Here's some pictures to highlight our trip together.    We wore our anklets every day.  We made a beach fairy garden and the little's loved it.    We ate good every day! Too good! LOL!  Volleyball was lots of fun for everyone. Well, except me! I am not athletic at all so needless to say I hit the ball wrong way and have quite a place on my arm to prove it! Yep, that ...
