{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? {Girls Day, Ministry, Princess, and Projects}

Well, who wouldn't want to go to a ladies event with this pretty  vignette to look at?  Photo Prop Our church was a host site for a Simulcast with Bible Study teacher Priscilla Shirer over the weekend and we had such a good turn out and a wonderful time of fellowship. I made lots of pictures and wish I could share them all but to keep from doing picture overload I'll share just a few. Just the cutest decor ever!  The flow of the decor went together like peanut butter and jelly! Each table was adorned with a pretty centerpiece.  The food and drink tables were so beautifully   decorated. The morning of the event we had a huge array of breakfast casseroles, muffins, pastries and fruit. For lun ch,  Chick-fil-A catered.  If you left hungry I can assure you it was because you did not eat! {It's a Fairy Kinda Day}

As most of my friends know, my children and grandchildren have Sunday dinner with me after church each week. Now of course there are those Sundays that for one reason or another we don't, but for the most part we do. I have had friends ask me, "What do you all do after dinner? Take naps? NOPE! Heaven's No! They can sleep when they go home!  My kitchen sign I made last year tells it all. But, when the weather is good we most often  go outside, pull out the lawn chairs and have fun. The kids fish, plays ball, rides the 4-wheeler, picks flowers or weeds, LOL, and well, we entertain ourselves. My thing has always been that it did not matter to me if we ate a hot dog, let's just do it together. We are truly blessed. {The Billy Graham Library} Final Chapter of Birthday Trip

The Cross is actually a door that you walk through to get inside the building.  As I share the last of my birthday trip pictures with you today I can't help but to be reminded that it's not just those milestone birthdays that are important. It's every day of life that the Lord gives to us.  Today I would like to share the Billy Graham Library. They should have named it the Billy Graham Museum. So much to look at, read and think about. The Billy Graham Library is located in Charlotte, NC so on our home from Ashville NC this was our last stop. So thankful we went to visit. The Library was designed to reflect Billy Graham’s journey from a humble farm boy to an international ambassador of God’s love, the barn-shaped building is situated on 20 landscaped acres, only miles from where Billy Graham grew up in Charlotte, N.C.
