I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts. We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield. We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord. I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it. Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...
I cannot imagine my life without my family! Living in a fallen world where I see families falling apart one by one, marriage covenants broken daily, parents abandoning their children and sin and selfishness being at the top of the household list, my heart breaks! I am a product of such sin and selfishness and years ago I realized how quickly generational bondage can lead to generational sin.
We must take a stand against the enemy my friends and say, "Not my marriage or my family will you have". Years ago I sensed such an awakening to the "reaping" of such generational bondage and sin that had been sown in my own life. I then made a vow to God that with His help I would STAND firm against Satan and I would make a difference in my marriage, in the lives of my children and future grandchildren.
Beth Moore, author of many Bible Studies said it best:
I believe we do not think about nor pray enough for our descendants---our children, grandchildren, and their children. Our actions, both good and bad, will have consequences after we are absent from this earth. While we are enjoying the bliss of heaven and the mercy of God's grace, our grandchildren still could be reaping painful consequences of situations we've sown. Or, on the other hand, they could be enjoying the benefits of faithful lives by lived by great-grandparents whom they've never know.
So just as the President, formerly, General Eisenhower sitting at his desk in the Oval Office soon after the war said, "THE BUCK STOPS HERE, I said it too! I knew that I did not want to pass down to my children and their children the same traits that had been passed down to me!

The Buck Stops here simply means that YOU are RESPONSIBLE now and cannot blame what is happening on someone else!
I love my family enough that I do want to make a difference in their lives and the lives of my grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Wouldn't it be nice to just think that one day even our great-great grandchildren will be reaping the "GOD difference" that we made in our own lives?
Great photos Cindy...you are so right we can make a difference in our families by the decisions WE make. I like the idea of "the buck stops here"

Your post is very powerful this morning. Very strong words indeed and very needed in this day and age. I have been praying for my children and my grandchildren, but never thought of what I teach them would no longer be heard when I leave this earth, but I do pray it sets in deep enough in them that they will still hear it when I'm gone. "Teach them in the way they should go and they will never part from it." Keep up your wonderful teachings, Cindy. Not only will your children and grandchildren be better off because of it, but mine and others will also be better off because of it. You're wonderful!

Love this post Cindy, it is a subject that I have also had to stand firm against. My daughter and I have talked about it many times, it was late in my life before I realized what was happening, before I understood. Thank God, He is faithful and provides us with the armor we need to go against Satan and his demons. We must stand strong in th faith and call on God everyday for guidance and protection.

I too can NOT imagine life without my dear husband and family. Your grands are darling and look like little angels. Loved the profound message of this post!
