Hoping this finds my sister bloggers doing well on this windy Sunday afternoon. Yep, we've got a little wind howling around here and a tad cool but I am enjoying a lazy afternoon. My Sunday lunch crowd (my family) have left for the day so I am kicked back. Sunday menu today consisted of: Chicken and dressing Giblet gravy Italian green beans with ham Mac & Cheese Homemade chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and chocolate ganache. Yep, they are little spoiled at Nana's house. I am not a huge fan of cakes with icing but it must have been good as one of the grands had two slices. These gals and I have been friends for more years than I remember and since we've all retired within a few months apart in retirement and age (dating back to 4th grade in school) we try to get together once every 4-6 weeks. We always do something extra for our birthdays but was a tad late celebrating mine this year together due to other appointments that was a must. We always have a gr...
What seems to be YOUR impossible right now? May we never cease in praying!
Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Prayer...something we could talk all day about. So very vital in the life of a CHRISTian!!! We have prayer teams at church who take a SONday each month and pray over the cards that the congregation turns in before the sermon begins. I LOVE that, and enjoy being a part of it. Praise, Repent, Ask, Yield!!! HOPE you have an awesome day, sweet Lady!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome Deb that your church does that. I believe in the power of prayer with all that is in me girl!
DeleteThanks for this today Cindy. Needed it.

Thanks Connie. I needed it myself.
DeleteSuch a bright spot for this day. Life is fragile, handle it with prayer!! Thank you for sharing sweet friend and for stopping by and your kind comment. Wish you could just walk over for that cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, cm
LOL! Me too...I would enjoy that coffee with you at your beautiful table.
DeleteThanks Heather for stopping by.
ReplyDeletePrayer is what made me strong throughout Rea's ordeal, Cindy....Christine
ReplyDeletePrayer is essential...and I always try to make sure I thank God for all He has given me.
ReplyDeleteI am so encouraged at your place this afternoon! My sister just emailed me that once we started praying, she finally improved in her health and is able to eat and keep down solids. I know God is encouraging me here today because I just was private messaged on FB about a friend rushed to the hospital in need of a miracle. I am believing Phil 4:6. Thank you, precious friend.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing! I am praying right now for your sister to continue to improve and for your friend in need of a miracle. God is still is the miracle making business!
DeleteI find myself talking to God many times each day, lifting up those who are sick or going through difficult times and thanking Him for blessings large and small. I know he listens.
ReplyDeleteMe too! Sometimes I wonder if He tires of listening to me. LOL!
DeleteFor sure! Never underestimate the power of prayer!!

I'm in prayer throughout the day, I would be lost if I didn't talk to the Father daily. I talk to him when I drive, clean house, cook or just sitting on the porch!
