Here it is Sunday afternoon again and do you know what I was thinking? In five short months we will be celebrating Christmas! That really hit me today. Of course I watched a movie over the weekend about Christmas in July and it gave me that itching of decorating for Christmas. Well, until I walked outside and felt the heat and humidity that is! Anyways....Christmas will be here before we know it. AND...I may get an early start at Christmas decor. Or, I am going to have to cut back this year as it seems to take me forever to get anything done! LOL! I truly do love all things Christmas though. What is your favorite holiday?
The travel ball grand and her family spent the week in Myrtle Beach for ballgames and added in some vacation time. The youngest sister had fun simply being a mermaid.
Needless to say she found her happy place while there. That kid loves her some ice cream and candy.
This little one found my battery operated facial cleanser and had the biggest time with it. She just kept saying, "Nana, it tickles".
My tomatoes are getting down to just a few left on the vines but I have so enjoyed them. Roasted some in my air fryer for lunch one day and oh they were they so good. But what isn't good with cheese on it right? We are getting ready to plant some collards. Do you like collards? Collards are Marty's favorite and since he does all the work except for cooking them then collards it is.
I hope that you all have a great week and be mindful to count your blessings. Sometimes I get so busy praying for things that I forget to thank Him for what He has done or is doing in my life so today...I count my blessings.

DeleteHow fun the girls could enjoy Myrtle Beach for softball and get a little vacay time too. Your sweet grand daughter is adorable with your face cleaner. Toooo cute. Have a great new week ahead. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteThanks Kris. She loved that little battery powered operated cleaner. LOL!
DeleteChristmas is my favourite holiday! I tend to keep an eye out for Christmas decor and gifts throughout the year--you never know what you'll find during the off-season. I've seen a lot of "Christmas in July" themed posts on social media recently.
ReplyDeleteThanks. I am seeing lots of Christmas decor pop up on pinterest and a few blogs.
DeleteThose girls sure are cute, Cindy. You know that I’m a pray-er, and thank you for the reminder to give thanks for our blessings. I’m not thinking about Christmas yet. I wish it didn’t stress me out so much, to be truthful. Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kitty. Praying we both have a good week.
DeleteI have no idea what collards taste like but they're not meat so I'd try them.
ReplyDeleteYes, Christmas is coming and as much as I enjoy getting ready for Christmas first we have my favourite season of Autumn. How I love when the days get less hot and the leaves turn colour. I'm definitely a Fall type of person.
YUM on anything GREENS! I am ready for some boots for Fall for sure.
DeleteYes, Christmas will be here before we know it! Love the mermaid, and looks like everyone is having a wonderful summer!
ReplyDeleteJenna
Thanks Jenna.
DeleteThose tomatoes look scrumptious!! I still haven't picked our first one yet. I'm not used to growing the big boys!! I usually have cherry tomatoes. I don't know if I've ever had collard greens?! Your grand looked so cute as a mermaid. Yes please to Sugar Life!! Your little one with the facial cleaner. So cute!
ReplyDeleteOh girl, if you lived close to me I would fix you some country cooking quick! LOL!
DeleteLove collards made the way only the South can do it! Your cheesy tomatoes look wonderful. I have to admit I'm not ready to think about Christmas yet but the Hallmark movies are fun right now.
ReplyDeleteGreens cooked right are so good.
DeleteI bet those softball girls had a blast at their tournament! I remember when Michelle played - those were the days! Your tomatoes look amazing! Ours are just starting to ripen. We don’t have collard greens but do enjoy our kale and lettuce. Happy week, dear Cindy! Zenda
ReplyDeleteHappy week to you too.
