{It's A New Beginning Y'all}

  It's a tad late to wish a  Happy New Year but I sure hope that it's kicked off good for everyone. Ours kicked off with being so THANKFUL for what God has done and is doing. As I told my family as we were reminiscing over 2024, "There is a lot of 2024 I DO NOT WANT A RE-DO but the Lord has surely taught me so very much. I am truly thankful for each breath, each day, family and close friends. We had our three youngest grands for New Years Eve. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed a little fishing, bonfire with their great-grandfather and roasting marshmallows. Their great-grandfather will be 90 years old next month. As most of you know I do a monthly focus board and this makes my 3rd or 4th year. I've lost count. Only fitting that New Beginnings would be my focus for January. This has been so good for me as it sits on my kitchen counter so I can see it daily. Wonderful way to focus and quote God's Word daily.  I felt up to hosting a lunch and movie day with ...

{Honest Reviews}

  I thought I would give a few honest reviews on several items that I have ordered as of late. I love when those of you share your reviews and ideas so wanted to share mine with you in this post.   I am always very skeptical about companies I've never heard of and I read lots of reviews. I decided to order a few things from this company called Shein. CHEAP prices for sure! The items I ordered arrived within 7 days. Everything came in one package and each item was wrapped separately inside the package. I ordered the anklets for the grandgirls and they were very cute and colorful. They loved them. The clothing I ordered was cute but cheaply made but then again, their stuff is cheap. The material was really thin. The old saying goes "You get what you pay for". However, I honestly love the cute orange su...

{Let June Begin}

  It's Sunday afternoon and my tribe has left after a wonderful and breezy afternoon. The youngest two grands made friends with a baby bird today and was so sad when they had to let it go.  We attended a dance recital for these two littles. They both done so good. It was so bright outside and we were all squinting in pictures. The girls had a fan club for sure. Marty and I are blessed that our family always supports one another. Just BLESSED y'all. Just blessed! Marty enjoys coffee cakes and breads with his morning coffee on his way to work so I baked a yummy cranberry & orange coffee cake with drizzled icing. It smelled amazing baking. I think I might have a slice in the morning. LOL! The month of May was National Physical Fitness & Sports month so we ladies finished up strong. We added extra workouts to our yoga classes in different areas and well, let me just say, "I found a few muscles that I didn't know I had". LOL! My focus board for June is so fitti...
