{Baking, Family, Friends and Fun}

Oh my! It's been a month since I have blogged. I honestly have found it hard to keep up but I am blaming on family time! What better explanation could I have huh? Well, maybe BAKING ! Vanilla cake with chocolate sauce filling and cool whip with powdered sugar icing topped with sprinkles.  Chocolate with fresh strawberry filling with buttercream frosting and a touch of candy pearls. Butter cake with buttercream icing and chocolate sauce.   There has been a whole lot of baking going on at my house. I get in these moods at times. Family & friends have enjoyed my gifts of love. My daughter Melissa and I carried my granddaughter Kyleigh and one of her sweet friends to see Snow White. We had such a fun time with the girls. Our family enjoyed watching our granddaughter Adalynn in her first cheer competition. Her team won 1st place.  Our granddaughter Mallory attended her Junior prom and had the best time. I've decided that blue is her color! I thought this was the cutest pi...

{Show and Tell}

  Where has the month gone too? Mercy, I can't believe September is almost here. I wanted to pop in this afternoon with a few new products that I am trying out. I love it when some of my blogging friends share what they've tried good or bad. It is always nice to hear the thoughts of others. Several of my friends use this brand of foundation so thought I'd give it a try. I like Neutrogena products so why not try the foundation. Though it's a great coverage and smooth finish I couldn't tell a difference really between the two products. I think I will stick to my old faithful L'oreal unless they go up in price.  I do like the L'oreal. I normally use a tea tree type of shampoo on my hair but I do like to change it up from time to time. I decided to try this. My hair is dry and my skin is dry so anyth...

As Marty reminds me often..."We are as busy as we make ourselves at times". TRUTH!  I am ready for some cooler weather here in Florida myself. How about you? Marty and I went to the Riverside Arts Market recently that is held each Saturday. It's held outside under tents and a bridge. It was a nice outing with vendors selling their specialty homemade items, produce, food trucks and live music.  The view of the river was nice so we purchased a hot dog with bottled water and sat close to the water under shelter and there actually was a cool breeze that came off the water as we listened to music. I did purchase a few sauces and we love them. Might have to go back now just to get more! LOVE those little day dates! This weekend we took Friday and Saturday and went to our hunting camp and done a littl...
