{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

 EXCITED!!!! Introducing an online 4-week Bible Study!

Donna Pyle is an amazing Bible Study leader among other things that she is gifted in. This is the 2nd study of Donna's that I will be teaching. However, this is my first Online study to ever do! I am excited! Donna has given me permission to share her study with others online. When I asked Donna about sharing her study she didn't stutter when she said, "Absolutely". Oh she is indeed a woman after God's heart.

I have felt the leading of the Lord to do an online summer study for a while now and had prayed and asked God that if this from Him to open the door. Within a week a sweet blogging friend of mine emailed me personally (Debbie Huffaker) asking me if I had ever considered doing an online study for those ladies across the miles. Go visit Debbie she is over at http://www.jeremiah-2911.com Then I emailed Donna Pyle next and when her response came back as a YES I knew this was from the Lord. I also have had several ladies that cannot attend my class this summer due to things in their life so this would be good for those ladies as well.

So, here is how this will work. This will be basically a 4 week study. Of course my version will be much shorter than the book version. I highly recommend that your purchase the book, Our Hope and Future. You can go straight to Donna's site and go to (store) and from there you can find this book among many others.  http://artesianministries.org/

I just recently finished teaching her book, "Your Strong Suit". Excellent study and life changing! The thing that you will find with Donna's studies is they all are based solely on the Living Word of God. I love that!!!

My goal is to have our lessons posted on Monday mornings each week. You will have all that week to do your lessons. If you can't get to it on Monday then maybe Tuesday you can.The lessons will be short therefore making this Bible Study easy peasy for you.  Then as you do your lesson you will post your responses onto the blog. Basically we will have conversation and fellowship on the blog. There will be a reply under any comment you make so that others can correspond directly with you should they desire.

This short online lesson will be private. So that means you will have to log in order to participate.Also, I will more than likely create a new blog to host online studies. So...if you are interested then please comment on here but also send me your personal email. ( creationsbycindy@nefcom.net) I will contact you when the class is ready to launch. (Which hopefully will be next week)

Looking forward to our "Sweet Nuggets of Truth" as we dive into Jeremiah 29:11-12.

Hugs and blessings, Cindy

Hiding the Ugly Hot Water Heater

 I shared that I wanted to hide my ugly hot water heater in my laundry room with you a few weeks ago. It just stuck out like a sore thumb. But after all it is a hot water heater right? So my man took a piece of wood (not real wood) but it worked and built a frame for me. So now to see if it would fit and it did. I painted it white and did not like the texture it had even after two coats of white. (rule of thumb...you get what you pay for and the wood was cheap) But I wasn't going to let it whip me!  Found some contact paper at Walmart in the gray and white. Covered the front with the contact paper and loved the look. The top was covered with a piece of painted wood as well and worked perfect to place this on top... And this.... Added a clothes basket in the corner and here was the top.... Yep, no longer an eye sore to me! Went perfect with my gray walls and gray and white floor. Remember the wood tray I bought at a...

{March Is Underway}

  Welcome to March! The little grands and I kicked off March with a sleepover at Nana's house. They are so much fun and so energetic. COFFEE has earned my love forever for sure! LOL!  We started out with a sack lunch from Burger King (their favorite) and headed to a cute little park that is only about 2 miles from where I live. The girls has so much fun. The girls put in for Nana to ride the horsey. Well, y'all know I had to show those littles that Nana still can do that!!! Two of the girls wanted to play with the old Halloween wigs but the youngest one opted out. She said it made her head itch. LOL!  We had a tea party for breakfast. Our tea party consisted of smoked sausage, peaches and chocolate chip cookies. Yummy to my tummy the youngest one said! I finally got around to making myself a healthy fruity Icee. I made the girls snow cones out of the same healthy fruits. Guess I needed too so they wouldn't be so hyped up from all the cookies when returning home. Hee-hee!...

{It's Been A Hot Minute Y'all}

  Well, it's not HOT in my neck of the woods in temperature (not today anyway) but it's sure been a HOT minute since I last posted. For that I am so sorry but it seems my life has been consumed with doctor appointments, tests, and MORE tests, biopsies, surgery and so much more. One day at a time sweet Jesus is all that any of us can ask for. Wanted to pop in on this beautiful Sunday afternoon to share a little about what I've been up too.  Marty and I enjoyed a weekend at the beach before I had breast cancer surgery and took advantage of the time I had in between so many doctor appointments and testing. It was sure a good little getaway.  We celebrated our 47th wedding anniversary in September. WOW! Just babies! LOL! We were high school sweethearts. Started dating at age 16. Married at age 18 and started a family at age 20.  We celebrated Marty's birthday in October. He says that he's feeling his age these days. LOL! He still works 4 days a week and has a long commu...
