It's a tad late to wish a Happy New Year but I sure hope that it's kicked off good for everyone. Ours kicked off with being so THANKFUL for what God has done and is doing. As I told my family as we were reminiscing over 2024, "There is a lot of 2024 I DO NOT WANT A RE-DO but the Lord has surely taught me so very much. I am truly thankful for each breath, each day, family and close friends. We had our three youngest grands for New Years Eve. We had a great time and the girls enjoyed a little fishing, bonfire with their great-grandfather and roasting marshmallows. Their great-grandfather will be 90 years old next month. As most of you know I do a monthly focus board and this makes my 3rd or 4th year. I've lost count. Only fitting that New Beginnings would be my focus for January. This has been so good for me as it sits on my kitchen counter so I can see it daily. Wonderful way to focus and quote God's Word daily. I felt up to hosting a lunch and movie day with ...

I have felt somewhat out in left field lately with so many other responsibilities that I have not had the time to blog or to look at some of your blogs. The last time I blogged was September 11th. A lot has happened in the last few months that has taken a lot of my most needed attention. I have "given" myself permission to blog when I can and when I can't then I just can't. Do you get that way sometimes? You feel like you have to give yourself permission to be what you can, when you can and to whom you can? I have missed some of you guys a lot and I know that several of my sweet blogging friends has kept me abreast of things and also has been my prayer partner over the past few months.THANK YOU from the depths of my heart! I've had ladies ask me, "why do you blog?" and I guess my truthful answer would be that it is a way for me to express myself..whether it be sharing the things that I am passionate about or simply the things that I JUST find cute, crazy, funny, sad, or etc. Either way...blogging for most people is a way to express themselves...help others, invest in others and for most of us...we can just simply be ourselves. I hope to be blogging with my Wednesday in the Word again soon......Who knows? Been thinking about changing things up a tad anyway...this might be a good time to do just that! BUT.......I wish you a very safe and fun Halloween. For me I will be sharing some of time with my church tonight making pictures of those cute babies that come to trick or treat!
Here is a printable I found free that you might like...print away!
