I hope that you all have enjoyed this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is risen! I wanted to end the month of March in sharing a few of my favorite photos from the month. Celebrated my favorite grandsons birthday. Conner is 18 now! Our beautiful Mallory Grace all decked out for the prom. The youngest grands (sisters) were flower girls in their uncle's wedding. The oldest one was in her element of dress up. The younger one, not so much. THAT HAIR BAND ITCHED HER HEAD she said! I purchased a new pair of wedges that I love. I am always skeptical about ordering shoes or clothing but read the reviews on Amazon and went for it. Love the color and the style. The youngest grand loves to take selfies and play with the filters. Marty colored Easter eggs. He always colors at least a dozen every year. He always says he's doing it for the grands but I know he does it because of the inner child in him! LOL! I went with the little ones to Disney on Ice and we had the best time. I think I enjo
Well the old saying, "Time waits on NO ONE" is surely true! It was January 2019 just last week it seemed and here it is a year later. I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas season and that your New Year has gotten off to a good beginning for you. We surely had a wonderful holiday season. I have so many pictures but will share just a few of my favorites.
We love our PJ's and at Christmas us girls and the grands all wear our PJ's. I had a friend do the design on our shirts for us all and they turned out so adorable. But I am huge SUCKER for Red trucks!
These kiddos bring me so much joy. Every year I buy the kids matching PJ's and sometimes it has been hard to get them all to match with so many different sizes. But once again, it all worked out.
I enjoyed my tablescape this season. Hated to put it all away. No worries though...I've already started on another tablescape. LOL!
Yes I do love me a little red truck.
Even my grandbabies had a little Christmas tablescape.
Speaking of red trucks...
I got another Red Truck to play with for Christmas. LOVE IT!
We celebrate Christmas Eve at my FIL home and have Santa come with gifts for the kids. It is so much fun to watch the little ones as their faces light up when they see him coming.
Even us BIG kids love Santa.
Even us BIG kids love Santa.
One of the favs of the kids was the Cocoa bar.
Marshmallows went into the larger bowl and chocolate chips in the smaller bowl.
And did I ever make some good, rich, creamy cocoa! Remember when I shared about having Belgium hot chocolate in NYC while the kids ice skated? That was the best hot chocolate ever. So I decided to make our family some Belgium hot chocolate.
It was soooooo good! I found a recipe and I tweaked it just a tad and well....it was a winner for us all!
We made so many wonderful memories during the Christmas season. We ended 2019 with our children and grandchildren with a big pot of chili, hot dogs, all the fixings along with roasting s'mores. God has been so good to us and continually amazes me with His love, mercy and grace. So undeserving but yet...HE STILL LOVES US!
We wish you all a very blessed and wonderful New Year. May you be blessed more than you could ever imagine.
Hugs and blessings, Cindy

DeleteYour family knows how to celebrate in a big way together Cindy, what a blessing! That hot cocoa sure sounded yummy! I love how you gift the kids each year with a pair of matching pajamas, that is so much fun! What a cute design you chose, and I love how your tablescape, well all your decor was themed to match! Just so much fun! Many blessings to you, sweet friend!

ReplyDeleteThanks Lea.
DeleteI love your family pictures. What a beautiful family. Everyone looks happy and like they are having a ball. LOVE that red truck with the tree- what a perfect gift!
ReplyDeleteI always do the pjs for the kids (big and little, too). Lately, Target has been doing family pjs and on the Black Friday weekend-they were $5! They are usually $29! Crazy and I was able to get all the sizes I needed (12 pair). lol
Hope you have a great Sunday- xo Diana
Girl I bought 6 pair and 4 tops! I need to wait till Black Friday I guess to hunt. I did find the pj bottoms in the right sizes at Target. Found the tops elsewhere and then had the logo put on them. Was an easy fix but really wished I could have found the whole sets in the sizes I needed. Thinking ahead now! LOL!
DeleteThis is SUCH A CHEERY POST, Cindy! Everybody looks fabulous, the food delicious, and like you, I love your table scape!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Thanks for sharing your family fun with us.
Happy New Year, Cindy!
ReplyDeleteLove your holiday PJS, tablescape (the black plaid looks great!), and cocoa bar (now you've got me craving Belgium hot chocolate!).
I took down my Christmas stuff yesterday. But I'm looking forward to decorating for winter.
Thanks for the visit. For some odd reason, I didn't receive an e-mail notification. Maybe Blogger has changed again...
Blogger can sure be CRAZY at times. I have one blogging friend that I NEVER get a notification from and yet I am suppose too.
DeleteYou are surrounded by such a beautiful family! Love the pyjamas. Best wishes for the new year.
ReplyDeleteThank you Kelly.
DeleteHappy 2020, dear Friend. Hope your year is full of blessings! Love you! 💜
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you too.
DeleteOh how I love this post....and YOU! I just have to tell you how sorry I am for just now commenting. Among other things, I have not been able to be on the internet (except for my phone...and then limited). I loved seeing all your "jammy" pictures...you have such a beautiful family! And yes, what is it about that red truck at Christmastime? I pray you and your family have a most blessed 2020, my dear friend! Sending New Years Hugs & Blessings!
ReplyDeleteAwe thanks so much my friend. Girl...when we have computer/internet issues it's really the pits! Yes, those red trucks are the cutest ever!

Thank you Amailia. Happy 2020.
DeleteIt looks like you had a wonderful Christmas. We split ours between our daughter's home on Christmas Eve and our son's home on Christmas Day. I loved the matching pj's. We've talked about doing that next year with our kids and grands all together. What fun!
ReplyDelete~Adrienne~
Oh the PJ's is the way to go. Especially for the kids. They are ready for bed after all the fun, food and gifts.
