{May Has Arrived}

  I sure hope that your May has kicked off to a good start. The heat is settling in quick around our parts.  We've kicked off May with watching our softball girls win the District. Next week we start another round of ball. It's so much fun to watch these girls and especially our girl, Mallory. She plays centerfield.  We were so proud of both teams that played against each other. They all, hand in hand gathered together as one of our girls prayed for the game and also for one of our young men that was in a horrific car accident and fighting. His name is Kaden if you can think to lift him up to our Lord.  I had the opportunity recently to speak to a group of women at a ladies luncheon event at a local church. Oh we had so much fun. I wished I had gotten pictures of the beautiful decorations. We had a TEA PARTY and we each kept the cup that we drank out of it.  Isn't she just lovely? Easter has come and gone but we sure have a great time with family. We gather each...

{Better late than never}

  Good afternoon to everyone. Seems I have surely been behind on blogging as of late. The term "Can't get with the program" seems to be my motto. LOL! But, I am here today.  I have been under the weather for about 10 days but feeling much better this afternoon. God surely has been right by my side. I believe in giving God praise and just want to lift His banner high tonight. Give a little praise with me friends because He is surely a good and merciful father.  My September focus sure came at the perfect time for me.  I was gifted this Thanksgiving catcus about three months ago and it was just a baby. It's growing and so much so that I have already repotted twice.  My favorite grandson, only grandson....a senior this year and his picture is up on the fence at our local football field as he plays football. We are so proud of our Conner.  Football game fan club. Our Adalynn, (Ada) started cheerleading this year and she is doing remarkable. We might just have a...

{Show and Tell}

  Where has the month gone too? Mercy, I can't believe September is almost here. I wanted to pop in this afternoon with a few new products that I am trying out. I love it when some of my blogging friends share what they've tried good or bad. It is always nice to hear the thoughts of others. Several of my friends use this brand of foundation so thought I'd give it a try. I like Neutrogena products so why not try the foundation. I use Infallible 24 hour L'oreal Paris as its long lasting and gives a good coverage. For a few bucks more though I decided to give Neutrogena foundation a try. Though it's a great coverage and smooth finish I couldn't tell a difference really between the two products. I think I will stick to my old faithful L'oreal unless they go up in price.  I do like the L'oreal. I normally use a tea tree type of shampoo on my hair but I do like to change it up from time to time. I decided to try this. My hair is dry and my skin is dry so anyth...

{Hello August}

Hello friends. I hope that you all are enjoying your summer. For me it seems that summer has been quite busy with one thing or another but I am sure we all feel the same most days. As Marty reminds me often..."We are as busy as we make ourselves at times". TRUTH!  I am ready for some cooler weather here in Florida myself. How about you? Marty and I went to the Riverside Arts Market recently that is held each Saturday. It's held outside under tents and a bridge. It was a nice outing with vendors selling their specialty homemade items, produce, food trucks and live music.  The view of the river was nice so we purchased a hot dog with bottled water and sat close to the water under shelter and there actually was a cool breeze that came off the water as we listened to music. I did purchase a few sauces and we love them. Might have to go back now just to get more! LOVE those little day dates! This weekend we took Friday and Saturday and went to our hunting camp and done a littl...

{Sweet Summertime}

 Well friends, it seems that I cannot catch up with blogging as of late. Summer time is filled to the brim with all sorts of things but I am here today. Hope you all are doing well and enjoying summer. I am already wishing for cooler temps to be honest. But, praise the Lord for air conditioning right? I saw this on FB and couldn't help but chuckle. I love reading church signs. Marty and made a little trip to our hunting camp and took a little ride through those old Georgia pines. It will be whitetail deer season before long. I can't wait! We stopped by the local Farmer's Market and shopped around a bit. I must say, their produce is much cheaper than the grocery stores are. It was a nice little outing for us. We spent the night and just enjoyed being out in God's beautiful creation. My Succulents are thriving even in this heat! I need to pull out the weeds from them but too hot to stay outside long. I snapped this picture of my granddaughter Kyleigh in church. It just me...

{Warning! Picture Overload}

  I can't believe that it's a been a month since I posted nor that half of the year is gone! Mercy! Family vacation and playing catch-up along with the just the norm of life has surely taken priority but rightfully so. Right?  Our family spent a most wonderful vacation together as we made memories in Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon and Key West. We rented a house in Marathon that would accommodate all 14 of us and we were quite pleased. We had our own private pool, dock, covered porch and balcony. We rented a boat and oh we enjoyed that so much with fishing and just riding. I have so many pictures that I wish I could share with you all but mercy, not enough time in the day. I did post on my Facebook page all of our pictures and just a few on Instagram.  We went to so many different places and encountered many new sights and sounds along the way. The places that we dined not only had great food but beautiful surroundings. YES, I would love to go back one day but I will say...
